OMG I'm actually excited for this album now... with the lead single being a solo track, all of the collaborations (sans maybe "Love Game") HAVE to be singles. I'm so excited that Skylar made the album, even after her album and singles unjustifiably flopped. I can see "The Monster" being the next single, especially since Rihanna doesn't have anything out smashing right now, and the GP love Eminem/Rihanna together.
What if "Love Game" samples Gaga? Kendrick has worked with Gaga before, so that might not be too far of a reach...
You know, I'm not really surprised to see another Rihanna collaboration on this album. They do work well together, Rihanna's songs with Eminem are by far my favorite songs by her. I think this song will slay! I am excited to hear some of the other collaborations too. I like that not all of the songs are collaborations and there is plenty of solo Em on this record. I am really excited! This album will SLAY.
Apparently, according to the guy that leaked Eminem's unreleased tracks a few years back, Monsters is nothing like Love The Way You Lie and is a 10/10, while the song with Nate is the strongest song on the album and Bad Guy is the weakest on the album. He apparently holds his own lyrically against Kendrick too.
I bet the Nate Ruess track will be single #2, that will probably be the album's smash...you just know he picked Nate because Nate had a monster hook he could bring. And it has the same place in the track list that Love the Way You Lie had on Recovery
