All 5 of them have either already peaked commercially or will peak within the next 5 years.
That said, Taylor won't be the "queen" of the decade, but she will likely remain the highest-selling female in country music. I can't say for certain whether Rihanna, Gaga, Adele or Katy can hold onto their dominance of the pop scene, but I'm positive Taylor will hold her own in country. Thus, I voted for her.
That makes no sense. Britney ruled the 00's, Beyonce had much success, but nowhere near Britney's level.
Beyonce got more critic recognition, more grammys, and she was like the voice of the generation ...... and I recognize beyonce is the most acclaimed female star of the 00s
but we're talking here about a whole different thing .... and Britney Spears was the biggest star of the 00s , Beyonce was successfull but as you say nowhere near Britney's level.
It's very hard to place it on one artist. That's why using the Trinity is much easier, like;
80's: Madonna, Janet Jackson, Cyndi Lauper
90's: Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey
10's: Katy Perry, Rihanna, Lady Gaga.
The only thing Brittney had from the 00's are sales and tours.

Success is wealth and power. Britney had far more of that than Beyonce. I love Beyonce, but she didn't have near as much success as Britney. Critical acclaim? Sure. But success? No.
