And its both artists song, plus like i said before you cannot give Owl City credits for the song success when he didn't had a hit in 3 years, his album sold less than hers, CMM outsells his entire discography and they decided to cancel the promo for the actual first single of "The Midsummer Station" to focus on "Good Time" simple by the fact that CMM was huge at the time.

Carlys profile at the time gave Good times a huge spotlight. But as a piece of work it belongs to Owl city. You cant guest on another artists record and snatch credit for it just because you have the higher profile at that given time.

Its not like Owl city havent had a huge hit before either theyre not unknown.

Owl City, and you know when you check his album sales and the first single of "The Midsummer Station" charted only in Japan and on the US Christian songs chart.

After "Good Time" she was at least relevant in Asia and Canada. Can't say the same about Owl City.

If he scores another hit again, it will be probably featuring or a duet with an artist that is big at the moment.
