Stevie Wonder is the male counterpart to my stanhood for Janet.
MJ is my second favorite male artist behind Stevie, and my 4th favorite overall.

Chile, no. There isn't a female pop act dead or alive that has a discography that can compete with the likes of MJ, Stevie, or Bob Dylan.
Males in music >>>>>> females in music

Er, says who? Fine if you just generally prefer male musicians, but it's sexist and inaccurate to say that male musicians are just overall better than female musicians. That couldn't be more wrong.

It's not sexist by any means. Male artists have proven themselves to be better musicians than women. They are more acclaimed by the most noted publications, not only as artists, but as well as their discographies.

Not so much anymore. Nowadays you have your Robyns, your Janelle Monaes, and your Joanna Newsoms and many more HIGHLY praised women in music.

Yes, right now. But inclusively, males have dominated the music scene. The most highly acclaimed females still pale in comparison to the most highly acclaimed males.

Just because they get more noticed by the media and the public, that doesn't make them better. Female musicians are only more underrated than they are, not less talented. Kate Bush's existence is barely acknowledged compared to all the adulation that MJ gets, but her discography >>>>>>>> MJ's for me any day.
And please show how they have "proven to be better musicians". Really, I want to see how that is not an opinion.

It's not about media attention. It's about the talent that attracts the media attention.
How have the males NOT proven to be better musicians? Let's take someone like Stevie Wonder. He plays 10 instruments. Name me a female act that plays 10 instruments. Let's take Ray Charles. He merged blues and gospel and created soul music. Name me a female act that's solely responsible for the creation of a musical genre.
Yes, it's an OPINION of who is more of a musician. But the FACTS are males will always out rank females when it comes to critics' opinions. The only thing females really excel at over males are vocal ability.

Yeah, basically my point. Opinions. Not a scientific study that objectively proves that males are better musicians. What's more of a fact is that female musicians usually have to fight harder to get their talents and their contributions to music recognized. It has nothing to do with the sex as a whole lacking less talent than their male counterparts. By that logic, we can conclude that an ethnicity is less musically talented than others just because so little of them have made a dent in music history compared to other races.

That's not true. Joanna Newsom and Bjork come to mind.
