Martina and Vanessa
I agree with you I wish radio would support artists like them
I'm very disappointed with Linkin Park's latest album. I hope they make a better comeback next time.
What a great list so far. I really love reading what you have to say about each single.
12/15
I especially love the Michael Franti & Spearhead, Art of Dying and Linkin Park
207. Ke$ha "Blow"
202. Hot Chelle Rae "I Like It Like That" (ft. New Boyz)*
201. Neon Trees "Your Surrender"
197. Katy Perry "Firework"
194. The Black Keys "Howlin' For You"
193. Linkin Park "Waiting For the End"
187. Death Cab For Cutie "You Are A Tourist"
185. Daughtry "Crawling Back To You" I really don't know how to talk about this without coming off disappointed, especially after heading the whole album. There were so many better songs to choose a lead single, I'm really hoping for Start of Something Good gets chosen as the next single. This is Daughtry's only charting song.
184. Skillet "It's Not Me, It's You" While I am not much into Christina music, Skillet is one of the few band that I do LOVE! Compared to the past three rock singles that have been released from their latest album, I haven't been much into this song. This is Skillet's only charting song.
183. Florence + The Machine "Shake It Out" There really isn't much to say about this song yet. It wasn't until the end of November that I was finally starting to like the song. And that this rate I will love it so much more in 2012. This is Florence's first of two charting songs. Shake It Off is eligible to chart next year.
182. He Is We "Happily Ever After Yet another wonderful hidden gem that I found on the HAC radio. It's the perfect song for those who are terrible at love and despite this are desperately searching for that one true person. This is He Is We's only charting song.
181. Bruno Mars "It Will Rain" I really don't have much to say about this song. Reasons for it being popular, 1. Twilight & 2. Everyone seems to be swept up in Bruno love. This happens to be my least favorite single of Bruno's so far. This is Bruno's first of three songs.
180. Usher "More" I know a lot of people haven't really like a lot of Usher's latest music, but I do love it and More is just another furn party song to have to dance to. This is Usher's only charting song.
179. Adele "Someone Like You" I do love this song, but I just don't why everyone love it as much as they do. It's a great song, but not the best that I know. I will say that I am happy for reaching #1 with this song on the Hot 100. This is Adele's first of three charting songs. **** storm coming in 3...2....1....
178. Ashton Shepherd "Look It Up" See, now this is the kinda of songs that I would love to be back on mainstream radio. Bitchy **** you, get the hell out of my life songs. For this being her breakthrough song, I think she made the right choice. This is Ashton's only charting song.
177. Lady Gaga "The Edge of Glory" See, this is the kind of Gaga that I love! Not of that preachy ******** that she has done a lot of so far this year. I love this song and wish that is was the sound of Born This Way.... not what is is. This is Gaga's only charting song... for this chart.
176. Foster the People "Pumped Up Kicks" Love the song, despite not knowing what it meant for the longest time. As much as I love Foster the People and their music, I don't get the hype for this either. I do wish them the best of luck in staying popular, it's better than most songs on radio. This is Foster the People's only charting song.
175. Sunny Sweeney "From A Table Away" I actually discovered her follow up single before I discovered this song. Sunny has one of the most beautiful voices I have heard in a long time... or at least new voices. I hope she is able to get a song to chart higher than this one did on both Country radio and the Hot 100. This is Sunny's first of two songs.
174. Within Temptation "Faster" I'm a bit disappointed with this song, most of which is because it doesn't really tell a story Not even the music video told a story. I do think this was a brilliant single choice and a great lead single. This is Within Temptation's first of two charting songs... This is also the first of two songs called Faster
173. Seether "Country Song" I don't know why it is, but I just wasn't able to get into this song as I do with most of Seether's singles. The video was brilliant and the song was good, but couldn't really get into it. This is Seether's first of two charting songs.
172. The Band Perry "All Your Life" Just like Country Song, All Your Life is another song that despite how much I love the song as well as the video, I just didn't finding myself loving it as much as their three other singles. This is The Band Perry's first of three charting songs.
171. Evanescence "What You Want" I'll admit that while I do love this song and would listen to the song a lot, What You Want got old really quick for me. I'm really putting a lot onto their current pop single and hope it doesn't end up like this song. This is Evanescence's first of two charting songs.
Sunny Sweeney - Concrete
Probably my favorite breakthough solo country artist. Sunny released her first major release this year with Concrete. I first discovered her when I was looking though iTunes one week and her single, then promo single, Staying's Worse Than Leaving was released as a free song of the week. That day also happened to be the day I broke up with my boyfriend so that breakup song really means a lot to me. In a year where females country artist really underperformed, Sunny got really good success with the lead single from the album, From A Table Away which peaked at #10 on country and #71 on the Hot 100. Concrete entered the Billboard 200 at #21 and has spawned three top 40 singles.
