I don't get why people are being so hostile towards this. Jennifer Lopez has hits (in the music industry), critical acclaim, longevity, a strong career at Hollywood. I mean she has accomplished so much that she should be out on another level. She really deserves this award.
She made impact on pop culture, she influenced a generation and the new one loves her.

I could never embarrass myself when it comes to discussing JLO. Anyone in their right mind would question, as others in here have, if it's deserved when compared to the other recipients. Stop being so affected by my questioning of it. Not saying she doesn't deserve some recognition.
