My point is not that you have to undeniably and unconditionally love ARTPOP with all your heart, mind and soul to attend the show. My point is that if you spent $80+ to watch her perform songs from that album then you must be a fan of it to some extent. Otherwise you're basically sitting in a loud, stuffy arena in an $80+ seat for the sole purpose of sitting and watching her perform a bunch of songs you don't even like.

Yes, I am a fan of Lady Gaga's persona, performing capability, charisma and stage design.
That being said, I don't like her BTW songs, like most of them (probably only three songs that really interest me) However, I have not chance to catch her earlier endeavors and tours, so I decide to see her live at the BTW tour, which I can attend, to see her capability as a live performer.
You guys are really blinded folded about why people go to tours. It is not necessarily people actually root for an artist's new materials. It is sometimes just as simple as that people want to see the artist in person, live.
Like most of the Radiohead tours (Radiohead don't do any old songs for each of their new tours). Friends of mine go to their new tour not because they like their new materials at all. They just want to witness the performer, the band they really like actually performing live in front of their face.
Ps. Remind me of when I saw Avril Lavigne's 'Best Damn Thing Tour' in Taiwan. Most of the crowd didn't know **** about her new album or hated her new album. But the stadium was still filled because people simply rooted for her past and wanted to see Avril Lavigne in person, live, as simple as that.
