Are you really counting a Christmas album to solidify your made up record? Gorl bye. Mariah's 6 lead studio albums have top 10 lead singles, all of which were top 3 and you will deal.
All #1. Vision of love, Emotions, Dreamlover, Fantasy, Honey, Heartbreaker.
I said ALMOST, Circus has sold ALMOST 4 million worldwide, as in CLOSE TO.
And yes IUSA flopped. It went only went to #19 on the billboard hot 100. That is a flop. And whether or not britney had more successful singles that era, that just makes my point even more valid. The fact is that britney after 10 years, was able to nab two smash hits and have an album sell MORE than Rated R did which was released during rihanna's 4th year in the business.
Who's really had more longevity?
And yes Loud is slaying Femme fatale worldwide but britney has been releasing music for 12 years whereas rihanna has only been releasing music for 6. In her 6th year in the music business, she was on her greatest hits album which sold 5 million copies worldwide anyway.
Girl Bye, Longevity and Britney SHOULD NOT be in the same sentence because as a fan u should already know that Britney always pull in the bulk of her sales in the first week. it doesn't matter if her singles flop or not, the outcome will always be the same.
Considering the lack of promo on both Britney & Jive's part it's doing quite well. Nothing to write home about, but still good. And, are you sure you want to bring up albums emphasis on that s?
Right
Brit's already sold over 80 million albums worldwide. One flop album means nothing to her
Rih. Rox ask Billboard on Twitter if this is true not just for Black Female artist but for any female artist or SOLO ARTIST in general. They will tell you.
I just tweeted them.

Loud is still outselling Femme Fatale at the end of the day and that is FACT, all shading and stanning aside.

Except she failed to continue the streak of having a top 10 single throughout. So far Rihanna is the only one that has done that. It's the same thing u Bey stans were talking about when you guys wanted her to continue the streak of having consecutive #1 albums. 2 more albums and she passes Britney. The same thing applies here.
