I'm trying to figure out where there was this issue of women losing their power as of recent for her to make this claim.
If anything women have progressively gained power to the point of there possibly being a female president come next election.

I think the song makes a point by having Nicki **** him, by having her "let him", by having her "hit him", by having her "make him".

Also, if you think women are equal in society today you need to educate yourself.
Whilst on the surface, it may seem like everyone is equal now but they're not.

to me it's just if it were clever like JLO's I luh ya papi I could see it.

I don't get how clapping her butt cheeks and having her face on the ground while her body is moving sexually is the act of regaining control.

Her dominating the rap game and making men give her props for her talent
Her making other male rappers popular instead of needing a co-sign from a male rapper as she stands on her own
her building an empire and not being a typical female rapper
Her having control of her publishing/rights in general
That's more feminist than booty clapping in my opinion

She does not have to objectify men in order to be a feminist



She can be sexual and still be in control

Feminism is about a woman's right to choose

Feminism is supporting women's rights in doing whatever they want, whether that be a university professor or a housewife. Choice is key.

Just so you know i know women are not equal...I just wasn't understanding how women regressed as of recent for her to progress and take power back in the form of Anaconda.

so the old role reversal using sex and not outsmarting men, outmanuevering men, succeeding over men which she HAS done.
That is an inspirational and feminist in the control she has over her career, her brand and her empire when almost all female rappers are controlled by men behind the scenes.
