Britney is not an actress though.

Well, you're right about the little effort part but Britney doesn't have any of those things I listed so....

I know but legends like Cher and Barbra Streisand each have Best Actress Oscars. It adds a lot in terms of whether your career is considered impressive when you succeed outside of your element.

If 4 is a flop still in the top 10 on Billboard 200. What does that make FF when it's not even in the top 70

Britney has not won more awards, not important ones at least.
In fact, her stans pad her award wiki page with internet polls and blog awards she's "won."

They have the Billboard poll mid year awards and the Emmy awards that did not go to her

Britney & Beyoncé are just about equal on all fronts except sales- which go to Britney, & awards/acclaim- which Beyoncé owns.
Britney is more frontloaded, the majority of her career accomplishments being in the span of 1999-2003. Her impact seems more apparent because of all the accomplishments that were contained within that timeframe. Because of this, she has a bigger immediate stanbase but over time her casual fanbase has dwindiled and she's lost her grasp over pop music- allowing the katys, rihs, k$ etc to take over when they would've otherwise been behind her if they appeared on the scene at the same time she did.
Beyonce has accomplishments spread over time and she doesn't fully embrace living her life in front of the tabloids so people underestimate her impact and what she's accomplished. If anyone needs anymore confirmation that Beyoncé has made an impact, plz refer to the 2011 VMAs where the MTV-appointed "Queen Of The VMAs" was made to read a teleprompter about how great & almighty Beyoncé is during the Queen Of The VMAs very own "tribute." Beyoncé gains new stans and fans and a whole new level of respect with every new album, slowly gaining traction. Her impactful songs are spread over each album. she boasts songs like Crrazy In Love from DIL, Irreplaceable from B'Day & Single Ladies from IASF. Britney seems to have no songs that permeate pop culture and appeal to people outside of its core demographic post-Slave, although she does have songs like Toxic, Everytime, & Gimme More which are iconic in the pop world.
It can be argued that Britney has bigger impact based off of how many people Yahoo! Search her in any given year compared to Beyoncé, but it can also be argued that Beyoncé has better longevity as Britney continues to lose steam.

I remember going to the page during the IASF/Circus era and it would be stuff like "PerezHilton Most Blogged About Award," "AfterElton.com Gay Icon Poll winner," "FUSE Top Pop Diva won 5 times for 5 consecutive years." I think wiki polished it up a little since then but

I can see it from either side here.
Britney, aside from however relevant she is today, was a huge player in the making of the modern popstar. She was that character in between the Madonna and the Gaga in my head, but it's not like that is any small part to play. She brought teenage sexuality into the game and rose to prominence in a climate that favored boybands, not female solo artists. Now, look where we are ten years later: female solo artists REIGN over the industry like no other. On the other hand, while most people still remember who she is and she has produced moderate hits in the past year, she's lost a lot of her power and has left the public eye.
Beyonce made the transition from successful group to solo artists in a way that even JT must envy. She's critically respected, has produced some of the biggest and most memorable hits in the United States of the past 10 years, and has sold boatloads. She's clearly still a powerful force in terms of respect and album sales, even when she produces a slew of weak singles. Beyond that, I feel like Beyonce, for many years now, has been known as THE female celebrity businesswoman (though I think Gaga has quickly come up to par with her and probably even surpassed her in this department). The fact is, Beyonce doesn't even seem to have to have hits or even make music to remain relevant anymore.
Either way, I don't really care so I'm not voting.
