Burn might be different with her previous work, but i found it really catchy

i know it's kinda irony for you that "burn" actually has your favorite artists behind the song (Nate Russ, Ryan Tedder, and Leona Lewis)

i actualy like Capital Cities, but i guess it's true that they will be just a one hit wonder

also kinda surprised to see Zedd make it here

Monster is actually one of my least favorite songs by ID so I'm glad they didn't give it a proper release.

I don't know any of those albums but I do want to hear Baptized and All the Little Lights at some point. I'll be sure to take your favorite and least favorites into account when I do.

Classic banner of yours. I noticed that you have suddenly stooped updated your countdowns. Are you fading out of YTT for next year? I guess so. You have excellent taste that is unique from others. Let’s not think about the bad, but the goods.

You are staring with the Monsters themselves. That is a good song by these guys, who had been monstrous this year. They blend some good music that they make it work, I’m impressed by John Newman this year so I will listen to that song soon. It’s fun to hear him. Bey just released some honey just like that from the beehive. I only heard Drunk in Love so far, which is a good song for itself (it got nothing on Crazy in Love tho). I will listen to Grown Woman.

Burn on Ellie! I never realized that before, but I just happy with any good music regardless. I just accepted as it is apart of 2013 trend. Crash My Party is a sweet song and yeah I agree with the lack of interest in Country music this year. Anklebiter is alright, yeah Capital Cites are definitely one hit wonders, but who cares Kangaroo Court is a banging. Love the video for it and don’t worry I will look into the message when I re-watch soon. Dear Darlin is a good one, I guess I’m falling for Olly’s trick, yeah haven’t heard much of Close My Eyes at all really, like that The Cab song and I agree with the Owl City comment. Good music so far as well as your write-ups So honest and caring.

My predictions for the #1 are Everything Has Changed, I Was a Fool, & Just Give Me a Reason.

I liked PATD’s album and must hear the rest of the albums in that set.

I gave a listen to Love & Drugs and it was nice. Probably 2010 me would have said very good.

Ankle Biters and Monster are my favorites from this set.

Thank you for your words, well it's a little complicated, in the end I couldn't manage to post my YTT countdown weekly due to my heavy schedule (master degree student here

) Hopefully I will find some time to continue next year, who knows? I've been missing your countdown too.

One of the rare EDM songs that I can bare to listen. Unlike most of its braindead genre counterparts It has an inspiring deep message that I really like. Sadly they're already retired so I guess it was a nice way to go.

"Wild Heart"

When I first heard of these boys I really thought they were trying so hard to be the next One Direction. I recently added this song to my playlist because it's really nice and simple, nothing too pretentious or commercial like I first assumed they were.

Sia feat. The Weeknd & Diplo
"Elastic Heart"

Sia might not be the prettiest girl out there but she's definitely got talent. This is one of the best songs in the new Hunger Games soundtrack, it might be a bit difficult to digest at first but it's pure gold once you get into it.

"Mama's Broken Heart"

Okay I gotta admit I really liked a Miranda Lambert song. It was mostly cause I finally gave "Over You" a chance early this year and I loved it and this one just got in my way. This song is like a role play, and she does it so well it's like it was written for her.

"Carried Away"

The indie wave just keeps popping up every now and then these years. What I like the most about indie bands is their creativity, they have the ability to make amazing things with little to no budget. Just look at this video, it's pure art.

Christina Aguilera
"We Remain"

Christina has been secretly slaying this year. And the funny thing about that is that she's having the last laugh watching all her peers try and fail way worse than she did. "We Remain" is by far the best song in the Catching Fire soundtrack. Very beautiful ballad.

The Civil Wars
"The One That Got Away"

This song is soothing and sad at the same time like most of their material. I've been waiting for them to drop a game-changing single but they haven't got it just yet. Well there's always next year.

You Me At Six
"Lived A Lie"

If this was 2011 this song would have probably been top 40. It's really good I gotta say, it has amazing lyrics and a very inspiring vibe. But I don't know, I just don't feel like listening to songs like these on the regular like I did back in the day.

James Blunt
"Bonfire Heart"

This is the first single of his that I've liked in years. He's not very consistent and sometimes his voice sounds really annoying to me. I think this one is so sweet, like one of those songs you'd whisper to someone's ear.
