Just like you stated I "may" have a point if he did know, I'll suggest the same:
You may have a point if he did NOT know. But his responses showed that even he didn't care about his own health let alone the health of others.

I wouldn't say that offering to pay for someone's treatment and a celeb wanting to keep this very private is evidence of maliciousness and/or a total lack of care. We just don't know all the facts here, but her reactions seem excessive and irrational.
I'll be willing to agree with you if we find out he had actual knowledge he had these STIs before her test results, but it's very likely he wasn't aware either and was likewise embarrassed at finding out about them.
that's so sad. RIP to her.
She was a wholesome straight woman who isn't used to those things like others.
