I'm getting all of these Google alerts on Cheryl talking about how the US X-Factor producers basically ordered Cheryl to dump Derek Hough... Because they know that he's light in the loafers and they're trying to spare her the heartache?
Totally agree. I hope she sticks with what she's good at: integrating pop music with slick R&B stylings. She has such a lovely clarity and silky-smoothness to her voice. It's really conducive to the kind of slinky, sensual pop/R&B hybrid stuff she ventured into on 3 Words and MLR. There are moments when she really reminds me of Ciara or Janet Jackson, but I think she does it better than those two because her vocals have a bit more muscle.
Exactly. I still want that quality production, because that puts her a level ahead of most of the other artists out there.

So, if you were compiling the perfect album for Cheryl's American release, what songs from MLR & 3 Words would you include?
I'd definitely do her singles -- Promise This, Fight For This Love, Parachute, 3 Words, and The Flood, then I'd throw in Rain on Me, Heaven, and Heartbreaker from 3 Words, and then Live Tonight, Happy Tears, Hummingbird, Raindrops, and then some new **** she records here in the states.
Along with those, I'd add Stand Up, Make Me Cry, Happy Hour, Lets Get Down, and Waiting.
It really does. Easily it's one of the most elegant songs released in years. Fact.

Edited the title! Such a bummer about her being bounced from X-Factor US but I can't be too sad, seeing's how I adore Nicole Scherzinger... I'm so torn!
Some media outlets are saying that, since the X-Factor PR peeps haven't said anything, Cheryl may not actually be fired and this all might just be one big publicity stunt. Wishful thinking or possibility?

Yesterday, 2 friends of mine texted me asking me why she was fired.
Only the start of her US Domination.
Like I said yesterday, all this publicity for the loss of the job >>>>>>> having the X Factor job itself. Cheryl be landing her name all over the media right now. I'm enjoying it.
