Yeah, to be honest, I don't think that most people really think that Gaga is anymore talented than her contemporaries. All in all, they can't see past the costumes that she chooses to express herself with.

And I think this depends on where do you live... for example, here in Eastern EU Rihanna is ruling, followed by Beyonce and Katy... yes, Katy. Nicki doesn't exist. Gaga is unpopular here and I rarely see someone that likes her, and I never hear her songs in public places, never.

Britney has been phoning it in for a while but I think that is irrelevant. She is still on that level based on her previous success/talent alone. Madonna could release flop after flop yet still remain on the same level. Same with Michael if he was still alive.
