But Obama is also leading in absentee votes. His gap won't be as big as 2008, but he'll still win. Plus he'll have more election day voters, because early voting was cut in half compared to 2008. Also let's not forget the third party candidate who's more conservative than Romney and he's polling at 5%, he'll most likely be taking away some Republican votes.

More democrats voted in 2008 than voted for Bill Clinton in the 90's. Republicans did not want to vote in 2008. They didn't like Obama or McCain. So most of them stayed home, and this time they are coming out.
