Ke$ha had a big song, but her impact is limited to the song itself. She's pretty faceless behind the song.
I don't care for Bieber, but the impact he has made is about HIM. He has become a part of the pop culture lexicon, at least for now.
Heck, JB's hair is more famous than all of Ke$ha.

So? Flo Rida had the biggest hit of the year in 2008 but you didn't see him on the short list for Best New Artiist.
Plus Ke$ha's album wasn't very good, and the critics agreed. I HIGHLY doubt she will be nominated, maybe for something like Best Dance Recording, but so many other artists outshine her in the Best New Artist category. It's not happening.

She really does deserve to be nominated this year in every major category, her album was truly amazing.

These are the Grammys, not the TCAs. All the predictions here are way too mainstream pop.
I remember back in 2008, everyone thought album of the year was gonna go to Amy Winehouse or Kanye. NOPE, it went to Herbie Hancock. 
I feel like Janelle Monae will win best new artist.

no. florence will win the best new artist....
popstars won't never win big awards... madonna didn't win with ray of light/ frozen and most likely gaga won't win with bad romance ( a song / video praised by every critic on the earth)

Janelle's night and anything other than that would be WRONG on all accounts. Best New Artist is going to someone who most likely isn't even big chart wise. Justin has had a huge impact and has legions of fans, but Jason Derulo made history as the first male artist to have their two debut singles go #1 on the Pop charts. Beluga/Wanrer has alot of people on the Grammy committee so you just never know.

THIS. I love both, and they're both deserving nominees, but I sincerely think Janelle will take it. Also, Bad Boy is letting Janelle do TONS of TV appearances and performances, and she's currently on tour with Of Montreal. In fact, she's performing on the DWTS results show tonight, if I'm not mistaken! That should keep her fresh in the minds of voters and hopefully, along with the positive reaction by the critics, will get her that VERY deserved Grammy (just like when my gurl Adele won in 2009).
