Britney will get the pity votes because the standards have been set so low for her, that once she shows up and dances a bit, it's considered a victory.
Britney, especially if Bey does another tired ass, long ass, drawn out medley.
Britney may surprise. And her doing better than anyone expected will automatically make her the best performer of the night due to the shock. I'm routing for Brit to slay souls a bit.
Bey's aren't. Bey will do a good job, but people are so use to that, that it won't seem like anything special. Unless Bey sets herself ablaze while hula hooping atop a water tank filled with alligators, there's nothing she can really do at this point that's going to seem amazing to most people. That's just the truth of it. Its hard to consistently outdo yourself, especially when people are use to you slaying.
Britney has nothing to lose. Again, the standards for her, and most other pop girls, are low compared to Bey. She will win by default.
See Beyonce has already set standards so high, she needs to blow us away in order to garner more attention.
Britney has been lacklustre recently, so if she performs anything close to what she was capable of in 2004, she'll get more attention.
