That's not what its about. We shouldn't live life like that. Especially in a country that one paper says "all men are created equal". If we are all equal why should a person have to work hard to achieve their goals because of a their skin which is out of their control? No that is not just life It will take time to change it of course but if things are to change we ALL have to be willing to take an active role in our OWN lives to acknowledge the racial inequality seen throughout the US. Stop having this attitude "Just deal with it" because people already are

what a mess. We are basically saying the same thing. I didn't mean that's life as in DEAL with it. I meant that's life as in it exists but we cant let it stop us. Too many people let their circumstances stop them because they get in this situation of blaming people. Yes lets acknowledge racial inequality but lets also work to better our lives even in the face of these inequalities.

That's the thing, we're discussing the unjust. Anytime someone brings it up, people start talking about whining and complaining.

Of course people should work hard, no ones is denying that, but damn, why can't we have a conversation about how unjust society can be at times?

Well you're saying "Thats just life" so you give off this sense of you can' do anything about it mean while we can. Anyways yes people should definitely try their best, but social inequality already takes place the second the child is born so its kinda of easy to always simply say "Work hard and you'll succeed" because that is simply not the case all the time even when you do work hard.
