Im not saying anyone is stopping us? Im not saying you
have to fight our battles?
Are you all really that limited?
I can be petty too though. You want other people to join your battle but you can give a **** about making an effort to educate yourself on the plight of other races and fight for them as well? I mean to play devils advocate for a second.
My original post wasnt about bashing the black rights movement or saying that any black person needs to shed light on latino issues, or force themselves to share the spotlight so to speak. I was simply agreeing with M.I.A.'s general attitude in acknowledging the fact that other minorities have voices that can be heard. Its not necessary to **** on anyone elses movement and I suppose M.I.A.'s comment can indirectly seem as if its doing so but ultimately if you're socially aware enough you'd understand the point without immediately getting on the defensive and ultimately saying "**** everyone else". Because that
is ultimately what you're saying with some of your responses. Im out dude, can't stand when people are so one dimensional and selfish to not understand the difference between bigotry and knowledge.
