well...
The sales for Rated R are now 664.950 in the US
Actually the sales are being consistant and this week they are up.
There is 335.050 left for the 1.000.000. Which should be reached before summer.

Stable for Alicia Keys!
Which is very impressive considering there is no singles to support the album right now

Billboard 200:
SOUNDSCAN (WEEK ENDING 2/21/10)
1 Sade – Soldier Of Love – 190,492 (After 2 weeks – 693,583)
2 Lady Antebellum – Need You Now – 144,117 (After 4 weeks – 1,041,420)
3 Black Eyed Peas – The E.N.D. (Energy Never Dies) – 65,450 (After 37 weeks – 2,131,271
Debuts Top 50:
42 Story Of The Year – Constant – 14,115
Lady Antebellum becomes the first one million seller album of 2010:
Quote:
It's a slow week on the Billboard 200, as Sade's "Soldier of Love" album retains the No. 1 position for a second frame, shifting 190,000 copies (down 62%), according to Neilsen SoundScan.
Last week, the top 40 of the Billboard 200 was populated with eight new arrivals, seemingly released to capitalize on the Valentine's Day holiday. This week, with V-Day in the rearview mirror, the chart's highest debut comes from Story of the Year's "The Constant," way down at No. 42 with 14,000.
It's not the first time this year that the chart has been light on big-bowing debuts. On the Billboard 200 chart dated Jan. 16 (reflecting the sales week that ended on Jan. 3), the highest debut was at No. 73 (a discount compilation titled "The 99 Most Essential Chopin Masterpieces").
As for the non-Sade titles in the top 10 this week, Lady Antebellum's "Need You Now" holds at No. 2 with 144,000 (down 31%). In turns, it becomes 2010's first million selling album as it reaches 1,041,000 in only its fourth week of release. It's the first title to sell a million so early in the year since the Game's "Documentary" hit a million in the fifth week of 2005.
The Black Eyed Peas' "The E.N.D." sells 65,000 and climbs five spots to No. 3 -- despite a 2% drop in sales. With overall album sales down 17%, many titles that see a small decline actually move up the chart. Lady Gaga's "The Fame," for instance, rises three slots to No. 4 with 63,000 (down 17%), while Lil Wayne's "Rebirth" falls one rung to No. 5 with 58,000 (down 35%).
Susan Boyle's "I Dreamed a Dream" drifts up from No. 9 to No. 6 with 51,000 (up 1%), Alicia Keys' "The Element of Freedom" flies from No. 12 to No. 7 with 39,000 (down 2%) and Jaheim's "Another Round" slips five positions to No. 8 in its second week with 36,000 (down 68%). Closing out the top 10 this week are Josh Turner's "Haywire" at No. 9 -- down four positions -- with 33,000 (down 62%) and Taylor Swift's "Fearless," holding at No. 10 with 32,000 (down 35%).
Overall album sales in this past chart week (ending Feb. 21) totaled 6.53 million units, down 17% compared to the sum last week (7.83 million) and down 12% compared to the comparable sales week of 2009 (7.41 million).

Yep, but this has been the best late Winter sales since sales began to decline. This week just wasn't as interesting. And with no major album releases, it's going to look bad in comparison to the first charts of 2010.
Lady Antebellum going Platinum is also a great sign. I can bet country artists begin releasing earlier in the year now.

"Rude Boy" will increase the sales of "Rated R".
Does anybody know how many weeks GGGB spent in the Charts?

YOUR HANDY-DANDY WEAKEND CHART PREVIEW
This year's streak of #1 albums over 100k will continue through the last chart in February, as Sade books another week at the top. Through the first two months in 2009, only two titles sold over 100k: Bruce Springsteen (224k) and The Fray (179k). Hey, it may not be 1999-esque, but it ain’t chopped liver either, not here in the early 21st century. For the record, the other six weeks last year all belonged to Taylor Swift, who, we should point out, is still rockin' the charts a year later. Here's how the Top 15 shapes up headed into the weekend:
Sade (Epic) 125-130k
Lady Antebellum (Capitol Nashville/EMI) 110-115k
Black Eyed Peas (Interscope) 50-55k
Lady Gaga, The Fame (Interscope) 45-50k
* Johnny Cash (American/Lost Highway) 40-45k
Lil Wayne (Cash Money/Universal Motown) 35-40k
Ke$ha (RCA/RMG) 27-30k
* Alkaline Trio (Epitaph) 25-28k
Taylor Swift (Big Machine) 24-27k
Rihanna (Def Jam/IDJ) 24-27k
Jaheim (Atlantic) 24-27k
Susan Boyle (Columbia) 24-27k
Alicia Keys (J/RMG) 23-25k
Mary J. Blige (Geffen) 23-25k
Lady Gaga, The Fame Monster (Interscope) 23-25k
go rihanna
i hope the prediction is true.
this is what we want to see from now on with the sales. LA REID, wake the hell up and see that the right singles need to be chosen. this should have done from the start instead of experimenting with the public reception.

THE FAME will spend its 36th week in the top 10, breaking Norah Jones' 35-week record for female debut in the 2000s.
Gaga is a and you're all her bitches.
