It would be cool to see her sell 200-250k but idk, we'll see. Idc if she debuts at #1 I know the fans want that, but I'm more concerned with the album maintaining with sales and outselling her previous records (and that's going to be hard with the success of GGGB)
well the two massive hits Rihanna has don't compare to the 2 massive hits Katy had and not only Rihanna stans got to Katy when she only sold those numbers, everyone went because her stans were saying she would sell 400k, we are realistic so if Rihanna sells these low numbers it wouldn't make sense people coming at her
I suppose thats fair but at the same time Rihanna has been on the radio all summer up until this point... or whenever Love the Way You Lie came out in addition to the two top #5 hits from her album. All I'mm saying as that she should at least be able to crack 200k this time.
Her preorders haven't been that bad
It's reached the top ten a few times on iTunes. Circus hit #10 on iTunes for her preorder and she did 505k the first week. I know that doesn't guarantee huge sales but I have my hope still
EDIT: Loud is still number 13 on iTunes. It's doing fine on preorders
I understand I could be wrong but with the two successful singles I expect it to do a lot better. I've also noticed much more positive hype to buy Loud.,
To be honest I really dont know.
Amazon doesnt mean ****, it never represents sales well.
And plus she has two versions of the album in the top 80 so thats probably in the 30's-40's combined for pre-order.
I really, really dont know.
I think unfortunately, it could reach as low as 140k, but it could also surprise and go as far as 250k.
It doesnt really matter, as long as her songs keep smashing, she'll have great consistent numbers like always, and christmas sales will be really good.
I feel like during Rated R she had alot of promo , the incident and a number of things in her favor and still couldnt go past 200K. Havin said that at this point in the game with 4 going on 5 albums deep, a more commercial sound & the sucess of her two singles theres no excuse as to why she shouldn't go over 200K this time. so Ill give her 230K as well if everything works in her favor. If not then 160 -190K.
I remember Rihanna stans getting on Katy for only selling 200K her first week because she had two massive hits, but dont be surprised if Rihanna ends up doing the same.
Its because the singles werent performing well. If she had oNly Girl type success with Rated R last year. She would have sold over 300k.
