i also think theres an issue of artist vs. model.
a model, their job is to look sexy and gorgeous in pictures. nicki (and miley, rih, any other singer who got **** for exposing themselves) is supposed to be an 'artist' who succeeds based on talent and 'using sex to sell' is not seen as respectable. its stupid but i think that might be part of it too.
