This would make sense if she was the top artist at the moment. She hasn't been #1 since 2008 and Taylor is becoming more and more of a threat to her overall global career.
That's Britney Rihanna is not even top ten except when you count pure record sales (then she's #8).
The point is that people are still interested in her. I'm not sure why this is a foreign concept to you but I have my suspicions.

Well yeah she wanted attention and she didn't get it but thats a different thing. She still preferred to stay away from generic producers , stay away from the same route most pop artists follow and do her own thing besides the backlash she would get.
yet she created applause, the most generic song of this decade.

She's obviously a huge artist. She's not going to be suddenly over and replaced in the span of 2 years, especially when she's still in the public eye.
The fact that y'all would even ask and argue this is laughable. There's no reason to ask this unless there's some insecurities involved.

Ups & downs are a part of any risk-taker artist. Let's not compare Gaga's peak with Rihanna's.
There's currently no female artist that could take Rihanna's role. I see no better alternative. The girl is beautiful & charming, she's something special.
Not to mention she was never really off the public eye.
