Firstly, Wasting All These Tears is approaching Gold status.. Which is good for only having one live televised performance.

Secondly, Wasting All These Tears was a Top 40 hit on the Billboard 100.. Top 10 on Country Songs and is still climbing up the Country Airplay.

Not to mention CMT has a whole series dedicated to her that follow the process of her making the album.

As well if she was such a "flop" Max Martin, Nathan Champan, Hilary Lindsey, Luke Laird and Gordie Sampson wouldn't have bothered working with her on Frame By Frame.

I know it's hard to bare a talented country artist, who can write circles around both aforementioned groups and is vocally superior to most winners of talent shows lately.. But it's pathetic you have to bring her down for it.

Maybe one day Emblem3 & Fifth Harmony will be able to sell records of their talent alone.

I don't even know what the point of these shows are anymore.
I couldn't tell you any of the names of the people who won The Voice, X Factor or American Idol since Kris Allen.

You must have star quality and something substantial/interesting to offer to music. Vocal talent is not as important as overall artistry.

Ironic really; AI produced maybe two successful winners that deserved it (Kelly and Carrie) while some of their non-winners seen success outside of music. The Voice is barely managing to produce maybe two decent artists (Danielle and Cassadee). The X Factor has yet to produce anything viable outside of the past season's top five (not including Tate).

I also want to add that she is going to perform on America's Got Talent next week, which will add to the promo and add to the success of the song.

Either way, Cassadee, Emblem3 & Fifth Harmony have all done much better than Tate.

Simon is ****ing up. It seems like this show is a fraud, at least the U.S version. We don't hear anything about the winners. What happened with Melanie? and it was Tate's dream to win and become a singer. We've all heard his story on the show and now he is dropped?

I think with Melanie, L.A. Reid basically screwed her up by making her lose weight and go into hiding. With Tate, Simon basically knew he wasn't going to be a success, so he made sure Emblem3 and Fifth Harmony got signed. And that plan is working since:

Emblem3 is touring with Selena Gomez
Fifth Harmony is touring with Cher Lloyd
and Tate Stevens seems to only be performing at county fairs according to his twitter.

Not to mention, Emblem3's album debuted 11 spots higher than Tate's and Fifth Harmony will most likely debut higher with their album as well.

This situation is almost identical to what happened on the UK version of X Factor when Matt Cardle won. Simon got One Direction signed and now they are a worldwide success unlike Matt. Cher Lloyd also made it over to the states and got a Top 15 hit and I'm sure her song with T.I. will be hot and successful as well.

Simon knows what he is doing.
