This is literally like saying because Girls' Generation has a large fanbase in America, they should sell as much as American artists. Hun, it doesn't work that way. Just like a foreign act debuting high here is a big deal, Gaga debuting high there is a big deal.


Oricon is updated daily so it'll fluctuate. She should do a quick promo spot there and it'll jump up.

Lol @ anyone thinking this is a bad chart position for Japan. Oricon charts, to even be on them is a HUGE accomplishment. Top 20 on Oricon is pretty much a HUGE smash for a Western artist in Japan.

Western Artist's don't ship even a quarter of the amount local acts will have in the store. That is why it is so difficult for artists to chart on Oricon, and when they do, it's a HUGE deal.
