Another thing I'm really fond of is posting previews of the upcoming shows. I'd hope that there would be potential for a live discussion, though I wouldn't put my money on it.

Monday Night Raw - 23rd January 2012
Are CM Punk's Days As Champion Numbered?
Since June, CM Punk has not been short of words to say about John Laurinaitis. Since then, Laurinaitis has attained an even higher position of power in the WWE as the Interim General Manager of Raw and the rivalry between Punk and Laurinaitis has been getting more heated. Last week on Raw seemed to be the breaking point, with Laurinaitis, usually a composed individual, freely admitting that he was going to screw CM Punk out of the WWE Championship at the Royal Rumble. CM Punk's words have proved controversial in the past, but was his verbal tirade of Laurinaitis last week one step too far? And will it end up costing the WWE Champion when he faces Dolph Ziggler for the WWE Championship on the 29th January at the Royal Rumble?
Also on Raw
With this being the last episode of Raw before the 2012 Royal Rumble, expect to see several superstars claim why they are favourites to win. Which wrestlers will gain some last-minute momentum leading into the Royal Rumble? Last week on Raw, John Cena found out that he would be facing his tormentor, Kane, at the Royal Rumble. Will Kane continue to play mind-games on Cena, or can Cena rise above the hate that Kane brings? Also last week, we saw Zack Ryder lose the US Championship he worked so hard to gain at the hands of Jack Swagger. The match was not without controversy as Ryder was not medically cleared to compete, but the decision stood. Will Ryder find out when he can expect his mandatory rematch? Chris Jericho continues to confound the WWE and its fans by doing nothing and saying nothing except pander to the crowd. Will we get any motives for his bizarre actions? And speaking of bizarre, will we see more of the Funkasaurus, Brodus Clay? Find out all this and more as Raw makes its last stop before the 2012 Royal Rumble.

I usually go on WrestlingForum.com for live discussions. But everytime something good happens the forum crashes. Looking forward of them building the Punk/Ace feud.
To be fair, it almost seemed as if they were putting some effort into rebuilding the division, again. The "DOD" shtick had so much potential, it's almost heart-wrenching looking back at how it was executed. Granted, it gave us some of the best Divas matches in quite some time. Beth vs. Kelly Kelly (NoC)/Eve (Vengeance) were both gems in their own right, and the butterfly actually began to gain at least a pinch of credibility.
The problem with the women's division in the 'E is that the fans haven't an interest because the WWE doesn't work with the Divas, and WWE doesn't work with the Divas because the fans haven't an interest. It's a vicious cycle that can evoke the potential death of the division.
Yeah, they really WERE trying, which is what made it all the more frustrating to see it devolve back into the Divas division that existed before Kharma debuted. Beth vs. Eve at Survivor Series will always be a great memory, if only for the Top Rope Glam Slam. In fact, almost all of my favorite memories of the Divas division in the WWE over the last eight months or so have involved either Beth Phoenix or AJ. One is the champ (but a champ that isn't really all that dominant anymore), and the other...well, the other was taken off TV by Big Show.
The fans don't have an interest because the WWE has instilled into them a belief that the Divas are the time for everyone to take a bathroom break or the time for everyone to go to the souvenir or food stands and buy stuff. The fans would be interested if they actually provided something to be interested in. Kharma was going to be the one that was going to change the Divas division forever...but we all know what happened there.

...which, in actuality, really is a fallible, though effective, recipe for success. In all fairness to Chris Masters, though, the guy became a great talent by the time they brought him back: his look was terrific, and he could go in the ring. Two out of three just wasn't enough for him to catch a break.
My thoughts on Hero mirrors those of Bourne; incredible talent, loads of potential, but screwed himself out with his own personal faults. A bit of shame since he, along with Castagnoli, had been pioneering for a break-way into the WWE for quite some time. Maybe he'll get another shot, though it won't be anytime too soon. The IWC collectively facepalmed---KoW was supposed to revitalize the tag team division.
By the time Chris Masters finally realized his potential, it was too late. WWE had already moved on. They're doing the EXACT same thing with Drew McIntyre right now. He finally got *it*, but they invested in him when he wasn't ready for the investment. Shame, really.
I'm just happy that Castagnoli is going to get his chance. The guy literally has every quality that the WWE wants. He's got the look, he's got enough mic skills, he's got tons of natural, in-ring charisma, and he can really go in the ring. Hero may still get another chance, because Claudio had multiple chances himself before he finally got in. It may be too late by then, though.

You have to remember that Roode god injured so they probably had to rush the title to Storm (shame they could have built Storm better before the title - but the injury ****ed everything up regarding that storyline) because Roode had to take a little break from injury. If he didn't the storyline wouldn't have been a mess.
It really looks like as if they don't care about the Tag Division or the Divas Divison though. I mean, Epico/Primo won the titles at the house show - shows much how they care. They really don't have many good tag teams left. Natyala and Beth Pheonix getting jobbed out is just wrong.
I find Austin Aries and Rodrieck Strong awesome - I wish they'd be in the WWE but the WWE would treat them as jobbers.
Didn't Roode win the title about two weeks after he lost to Angle? I could be wrong, though.
It's a total shame what has happened to BOTH the Divas and Tag divisions. The divas division at least has Beth as the champ (at the moment), though. The Tag division has Epico and Primo as tag champs. They're talented, absolutely, but NOBODY CARES about them at all. Rosa better start wearing even less than what she already is, or they will fall flat on their face just like Mactunga did.
Austin Aries would succeed in the WWE. I have no doubt. Unlike Roderick, he actually has the ability to talk effectively and in front of large audiences.

Alicia Fox is the best out of the model wrestlers.

I frequent another wrestling forum for discussions. Most of the others are, for the most part, messy and chaotic. Going forward, Punk/Ace is the best-built feud at this point.

I don't post there, but Something Awful has the absolute best wrestling conversations on the internet. Bar none. It's like a wrestling fan's nirvana there. (Of course, you also have to pay to post there. )
Punk/Ace has the potential to be something really special, particularly if Johnny Ace continues to show off a nastier side like he did at the end of the last Raw. I hope he does, anyway.

WrestlingClique.
I have to say, I all but detested Ace in his role at the very beginning. Not only was he a charisma vacuum, awkward on camera, but when it seemed like he would follow the typical tandem of generic heel GM, I was completely over it. I have to say, 'false-good-intentions' Ace has become a regular show highlight. He seems more comfortable in his role, and it shows in his delivery. I especially love the "My name is..." mantra at every check.
The Divas are dead in the water. Just let it go. They're just eye candy and pieces of meat.
One or two of them have decent talent, but the rest are complete trash. Long gone are the days of depth and talent on the women's side. The WWE doesn't really care to bring it back either. I actually think they prefer it this way, especially as the time slots for women's matches gets shorter and shorter.

Then again, isn't that women's wrestling in general? Heck, the basis of contemporary women's wrestling is centered around T&A. Has been since the early 90's. The higher-ups in the WWE have long showed just how chauvinistic they are towards their female performers, without legally and directly pissing anyone off. This has become a complaint amongst both the previously and currently employed in the WWE. The Divas do have potential, that's evident. However, as I've outlined earlier, the WWE gives the audience more than enough reasons not to care.
But really, I don't have enough time to rant on the Divas tonight. It also wouldn't help matters if I were to tell you who my favorite female wrestler is.
Damn, the Divas Division is completely suffering this year.
I mean -- before it was worse, but at least they got 4 or 5 minutes. Now they barely get minute for their matches.
I'm so frustrated with WWE and their lack of care or consideration for their Divas.
I'm glad we have NXT though. Maxine is my girl.
it has been suffering for a while now. not just this year.
the only thing good coming was Kharma but seeing as she got pregnant, that pretty much screwed plans up
I was looking forward to the team of Natalya and Beth Phoenix. thought something good could come out of it, but they are making Natalya look like a complete joke.
I'm glad they are only getting 5 minutes because the matches seem to always now be botchful and it shows the crowd isn't interested in it one bit.
A number of WWE sources believe that we've seen the last of Evan Bourne in the company following his second WWE Wellness suspension but no final decision has been made yet.
I am told the latest suspension was for something completely unrelated to the first.
