I'd like to start off this post by saying thank you to everyone who has voted so far. As of now, I have 19 ballots completed! And right now, the top two songs are only separated by 7 points. Here's a breakdown of this week's countdown:

So as you can see, there is a lot of movement on this week's chart as of right now. But if you haven't voted yet, you can still do so with the link at the bottom of my page.
And if you know anyone who might be interested in voting, give them a heads up about my page.
One last note, I will be updating the countdown this Thursday, meaning that voting will close at 12:00 AM Thursday. It turns out that Friday wouldn't be the best day to update the countdown, and rather than waiting until the weekend to post the countdown, I figured I would post it earlier.
Alright, so it's been almost a day since the last vote came in. And if I don't receive any more votes by the end of the day, I will close voting at 12:00 PM tomorrow. But if I do receive more votes, I will keep the deadline at 12:00 AM Thursday.
I don't really see the need in holding up the countdown when I a) have plenty of votes, and b) haven't received any votes in a 24 hour span.
So if you would like to vote, make sure you do so now!
Last week on the countdown, Natasha Bedingfield secured the number one with an impressive 9-spot jump from #10 to #1. And this week, Daniel Bedingfield's little sister will try to make it 2 weeks in-a-row at the pinnacle of the countdown. But to do so, she's going to have to fight off stiff competition from Mariah Carey and Maroon 5, both of whom gained plenty of support this week. Also of note, this week was a record breaking week in terms of votes cast, as 19 people voted this week. And even more impressive, the #20 video this week had over 100 points!
There are also 5 countdown debuts this week and a band returns to the countdown. I will also premiere two videos, one from up-and-coming artist Charlotte Sometimes, entitled "How I Could Just Kill a Man" and the other by Weezer, entitled "Pork and Beans".

Congratulations to Rihanna, who has the #1 spot on the countdown for the sixth time this year! Will she have another run similar to the one she had with "Don't Stop the Music" with "Take a Bow"? Or will she be one-and-done, like Timbaland, Chris Brown, and Natasha Bedingfield? Mariah Carey sure hopes so, as "Bye Bye" is no where near saying "farewell" to the countdown. And how about Paramore? They made an impressive debut at #7 this week, and their fanbase will surely be voting heavily this week.
Check out the countdown when it is updated next week. Check back later today to see the updated voting list and vote for your next week's countdown!
