I don't think Katy's aesthetic mirrors Gaga but the whole over-the-top big-production aspect of her artistry is something I believe was inspired bu The Fame era. I don't remember Katy being as big in visuals during One of the Boys. But she's nowhere near a "reductive version" as someone like Natalia Kills.

I do think Xtina has inspired Gaga in some ways but she's not a cheapr version if she's already bigger than Xtina overall.

Agree. Gaga only had 1 memorable long era (TF/TFM).

Xtina has Stripped, which IMO was a much better pop/rock album than BTW.
