With all of the hype and her career at a high, the BTW cover was, to me, one of the worst career moments in history. It was such a monumental let-down.

It cant be as good as Born This Way, neither the cover, nor the material.
You should've prepared an apologetic speech like "Oh no, looks like I just accidentally blasted Applause, the new single from Lady Gaga's ARTPOP in stores November 11th, which you can pre-order now on iTunes"
When you do such an effort to make something NEW, DIfferent, Creative that costs more money than getting a photographer for a photoshoot, the Label will spend more money for promo etc.. If you think that Interscope paid JEFF KOONS for the statue etc.. the whole Idea and the money for that ALbum Cover comes from Lady LORD Gaga.... QUEEN !
