In the case of the people in her audience, I believe they are. She can sit there and talk about a farce that has been talk about and clear up a week ago and they still clap and agree with her mess. Thus making her happy, and thus making her continue what she does. That audience is the equivalent.
I already know the tea about her mess. But she is hilarious in comparison to other basic talk shows, which is the only reason why I watch her mess. If she was spewing nonsense and was boring (ala perez hilton) I wouldn't be here for her.
