When I saw Iggy I thought she'd be a hot mess and come to find out she is, but in a good way. I grew up on rap, but I kinda drifted away from it these last few years. Iggy isn't trying to be some poet she's just trying to have fun and I had fun listening and she's not that bad of a rapper. Better than Kreyshawn, but that's not hard to do.

Adele Adele Adele. My have you grown. I remember when she was a VH1 You Oughta Know artist. I always ignored Chasing Pavements. I thought she pretentious crap and then I watched The Grammys. Her Chasing Pavements performance made me fall in love with the song. I remember being on BWboard(Beys old message board) and seeing a thread about her new single Rolling in The Deep. I downloaded because I loved Chasing Pavements so much. You just don't understand how SHOCKED I was at how amazing it was. The vocals, The tribal beat. Everything was just perfect. So then a few months later her album leaks. I decided to download it and I was just floored. I wanted her to gain success never did I expect her to blow up so. Since then people have overrated the hell out of her and I got tired of people jumping on the bandwagon, but in the end the music was so good I just couldn't give up on her

Lykke Li another person I wrote off this year, but then I heard I Follow Rivers. That song is just FLAWLESS. When I tell you my heart almost stopped when I heard it. I held off one listening to Lykke's album because I was afraid it wouldn't live up to the hype, but when I listened I was please. The album was great. One of my faves of the year.
