Republicans care for every class. They want to encourage the people on Welfare to start working, which means they care for those people. When that unemployment rate decreases, the taxing amount decreases (what Republicans want to happen), which is positive for anybody that is struggling to keep their house and support their family (mainly the poor, and some of the middle class). The lowered taxes is also good for both middle class and the richer to support their family even more than now.

Republicans don't care for every class. They didn't want the tax cuts for the middle class or support Obama's jobs plan without offering a counter offer. All they did since they got in office was criticize him for not doing anything. He was trying but they kept blocking his legislation

I never put an entire blame on anyone. I constantly used the word partly under several presidents.

Also if you wanna get really technical Congress is also who makes most of the decisions but since we have a split up congress for the past year, nothing can and nothing will get done.

So far, President Obama has taken 61 vacation days after 31 months in office. At this point in their presidencies, George W. Bush had spent 180 days at his ranch where his staff often joined him for meetings. And Ronald Reagan had taken 112 vacation days at his ranch.

To be fair, a presidential vacation away from the White House is not the same as a vacation for the average person. The president is still in contact with his advisers and on call for any emergency.
