Actually, the video is barely pointing out the struggles of a homosexual, but mostly the struggles of trans-women, and it showcases quite well how misogynistic society and how fragile masculinity in general are.

The fact that people are victim-blaming and saying they'd bully him too for "giving gays a bad name" just further proves this. It's so oppressive because it's implying that the misogynistic/heteronormative structures which facilitate this type of bullying are to be protected, and that everyone should just perform masculinity in order to not be seen as inferior to stereotypical straight men. That's so ****ing defeatist, I can't even.
