People confuse the drop of her last album for a flop. (Which is interesting since people called BTW a flop also).
ARTPOP received numbers around the ones her contemporaries do normally. So mostly all your faves are flops in that logic. And if we go to WW sales, she had a bigger debut week than most of the major pop girls releases this year. So sit down.
The obvious answer is Warrior anything else is just delusion.
None of the albums deserved to flop tbh, Warrior is an amazing album and critics loved it, it's just people didn't buy it. Ke$ha is a single artist and her singles did sell well so it doesn't bother me that much, I would say ARTPOP since Gaga is suppose to be the biggest Popstar on the planet, she should of got more sales tbh, I love both artist and it's not fair they flopped they will get their throne back! I believe kesha is setting up for a Tik ToK 2.0, timber is a big hit just like Right Round was, I can't wait for Ke$ha next era!
Warrior, yea Artpop was a huge drop for Gaga's standards but the album has already sold one million copies WW whereas Warrior failed to sell 500k WW after more than one year from release.
Anyone was expecting "Warrior" to do as well as its predecessor, while everyone was expecting "ARTPOP" to be the best selling album by a pop girl of 2013.
Warrior had a hit. I'm still waiting for ARTPOP's.
Apparently, "Applause" and "Do What U Want" are considered "the hits" from "ARTPOP,"
even though neither matched the success of both "Die Young" or "Timber."
Is this a joke? Warrior sold 300k in a year. ARTPOP is closing in on 500k after a month and is selling roughly at the same pace as Bangerz and PRISM, two of the biggest pop releases of the year.
