About the whole Troy vs GaGa discussion earlier, what I think it happened is that they had different intentions for the era. They seemed to have gone with Troy's one (The App, technology, more urban/mid-tempos, and what not), but GaGa said 'gfy' and started doing things on her own. And things fell somewhere in the middle, which was the messiest and the worst place possible. It made seem like they had no direction, and everything just fell apart. Hopefully, they'll pull themselves together for the next era. And by the look of things for C2C, we're on the right track.

All the promotional platforms they're using for C2C is insane. Deals with ESPN, HSN, H&M, Target, etc. I can't wait until reviews and sales predictions start coming in

What are everyone's current debut predictions for CTC? I'm saying 50k-80k. I know Tony and Gaga's last albums debuted with 190k and 260k respectively, but seeing so many Gaga fans (especially on here) proclaim they aren't going to legally buy and support the album alongside the chance of Tony's loyal following being turned off due to Gaga being involved, it will be relying a lot on the GP.

For the millionth time: promo has never been the problem. You can promote on every major platform but if the material sucks & people don't like you, it won't have any effect or even a negative effect. Her manager needs to lock her up in the studio with hit producers, not book promo spots for an album no one will care about by the end of the year.

I would hope 100k-150k. Any more seems to be a huge stretch and any less looks kind of tragic and she'll get dragged if she does less than 100k. This albums sales will be dependent on the GP and have almost zero longevity (until Xmas) so promotion in the right spots is the most important part of this release if she wants to pull in every sale she can.

Catalog sales make up half of all album sales, while pop makes up about 10%, so this point is ridiculous.

I think C2C can do 150k easily.

And whoever said it won't have longevity, that's also ridiculous when they have the jazz festival in October and it will most likely be a big holiday seller. Plus it'll for sure be getting a Grammy nomination, so that will carry it through the holidays as well.

Why would anything less than 110K would be "" when Ariana Grande who had 3 songs inside the top 10 of iTunes is barely doing 150K & when the highest selling album of 2013 only sold 4 million copies WW? OT: C2C can easily do over 100k. People underestimate Tony and Gaga's power. My uncle who used to hate Gaga actually loves her now after hearing her collabs with Tony and he said he will definitely buy it as will my mom and dad
