The first part is a lie but you're right about the second part, they didn't deserve to be blacklisted and fall from being the second biggest GG in Korea, but ditching Hwayoung and avoiding the fate of churning out increasingly crappy songs is a nice consolation, no? They were getting complacent. Cry Cry was boring crap, Lovey Dovey was a catchy and enjoyable yet safe and inferior rehash of the masterpiece Roly Poly, and Day By Day was an anonymous average mess (Still decent), but luckily they kicked Hwayoung to the curb and immediately delivered Sexy Slay, Number Nine, Do You Know Me, Sugar Free... I'd rather them be unsuccessful in their native country and produce good music than be a top girl group who produces average to crappy tunes because they don't need to worry about their position.
