I definitely like the blue one better, the front has both mascots, but the back is so plain with only the starters.
The gold one is nice and detailed, but when will anyone want to look at the back of my system?
But also the system is preloaded with either X or Y and species availability is a big factor to me
The gold one is only going to be sold at Pokemon Centers anyways. But also it's unknown if they will be released outside of Japan at this point. And 3DS' are region locked, so you'd have to buy Japanese games for it if that were the case

How far are you? You should be able to get Lapras or Milotic
Gen 5 water types are basic don't pollute your team with anymore of them
WTF? Really?! Right now I'm trying to catch a Kingdra in route 18 but if it's easier to catch, a Lapras would be awesome
EDIT: ok, I could find one at Village Bridge, but I have te same probability for both, so I think I'd go with Kingdra cause it's half dragon type

The fact that I have 2 Seadras and I can't make them evolve without trading is what really pisses me off though
