Nah, they totally would've blocked each other out + Bang Bang was also released within that 7 day period. Plus I don't think anyone expected Anaconda to shoot up to #1 on iTunes like that upon release.

But the single was pushed back a week so that her label can give it a proper release. That's the official reason. That's why Anaconda got all of that promotion + all of those radio deals. If you recall, she wanted the label to take care of everything after PNP's release was botched.
