Anyways, I've been so bored with k-pop, it started at the middle of last year and has just solidified as time passes. No one is doing what they were in 2010-2011. 2NE1 can't even muster a comeback anymore. Girls Generation can't redeem themselves with Japanese albums anymore. This whole funk-pop inspired ******** that every group has been doing isn't next level.
It's like everything reduced. F(x) had the most solid release out of anyone this year. Even the once huge names can't deliver any modern classics anymore.
SHINee released 15 mini's this year and none of them lasted more than a week. Exo had a horrible full length. BEG's album was promising first listen, but none of the songs ended up standing out.
What happened to those days of I Am The Best, Vendetta, Nu ABO, Genie, Bubble Pop, and the flawless bops of 4Minute.
Yeah, it has dwindled down the past two years 2012 was really good but this year had great singles with good to not so good albums/minis. Like you said J-Pop is still serving the goods at least.
SM needs to stop shoving demos down f(x) throats tbh.
Now you will not Trash 4 Minute mini, like that. It was the absolute B0P of 2013.
Overall CUBE had a really great year, I mean BTWOST upgraded their sound, GNA had a cute comeback, BTOB, 2YOON & Trouble Maker more or less all slayed and had cute BOPs.
Shinhwah had a great album. 2PM was hit & miss. F(X) didn't deliver anything for me.
There were great rookies to: Global Icon, Topp Dogg, BTS, LC9, History, Henry, Ladies Code.

In other news, J-Pop is still delivering.
Kpop has lost its charm for me because all you see is new and extremely basic rookie groups debuting like every week and they never put out anything special
Ladies' Code are the only worth rookies this year with BTS in my opinion. Wa$$up, HISTORY, BESTie and Topp Dogg have potential with the right song and concept...
^ You will not come for GI when they delivered a good mini now while SimTong ruined their comeback with messy decisions for them the mini album delivered. BTS and Ladies Code are the best rookie groups of this year without a doubt.
MBC Plus recently opened up a new website for an upcoming show titled, EXO’s Showtime.
