But they weren't wrong It's been #1 on iTunes since August 6th and has only lost the #1 twice - once to a new release and the other to a pre-order track. I don't see what you're getting at.

Well it's only had 1 week at 150k+; that's...some weakness. The last H100 #1 to be so deficient is Disturbia 7 years ago.

Digital sales are in a worse state now then they were 7 years ago, though. Digital sales numbers now are practically the same as they were in 2006, so for it to be doing 2008 numbers now is somewhat impressive.

Just because it lost the #1 doesn't necessarily mean it's week, especially considering what it lost the #1 to. At that point, the two songs had basically the same airplay, sales, and streaming.

Let's see how it turns out in the end before we make a conclusion.

Can't Feel My Face could still be #1 for several weeks. It could be 1 month+ before either The Hills or Locked Away can climb to #1 imo. There's album release soon which will boost CFMF (although that will boost The Hills too).

Also, Can't Feel My Face has been quite close to #1 in some of the recent weeks I believe. If they had sent the song to urban radio it could've got enough extra airplay (and the resulting streaming) to have beaten Cheerleader on some of those weeks.

Also, selling over 150,000, even for just one week, is impressive today.

Well one song this year had multiple 200k weeks, and three other songs this year had multiple 150k weeks, without hitting #1.

One single 150k week (and a #4 Streaming peak) for a #1 song, not so impressive.

We weren't wrong CFMF IS dominating right now Number 1 on all formats and will go back to #1 the week after next week and will probably start at #1 for weeks after that.

Abel will probably get a Billboard double .
