THIS! You made such a good point, I think the most relevant artists are the ones that are both loved and hated, they're the ones that get the most publicity! Demi's obviously going to keep her stan base, and even broaden it. She'll have more haters, but that's a good thing

I've noticed something about these shows

lower ratings= higher social media buzz

higher ratings= lower social media buzz

I mean X Factor was dominating the WW Trends last night whilst The Voice probably only made one appearance. And TVD a show that arely gets over 4 million viewers dominates the TTs aswell.

Appart from the Demi sabotage the quality improved last night, I loved all of Britneys acts minus Beatrice, Arin has amazing stage presence and the song choices so far have suited him.

Yas stan for them sis But the demi sabotage made me so angry that it was hard to enjoy the show. I'm pretty sure at one point she had teary eyes. Like that's so messed up

I'm talking about the judging, whilst she has improved she rarely has anything constructive to say to the contestants....the one moment she tried to be constructive she suggested Jason Brock sing Scream by Usher since its an "urban" song???

Don't get me wrong I think she's done an amazing job mentoring but I'm also aware that producers are always heavily involved with the mentoring process, and Simon shut down almost every thing Demi said that was slight true to his acts because it made him look bad. Her judging is actually great and she makes valid points.

Don't get me wrong Britney stans, I love Britney and all but I find it unfair how she's being so clearly favoured, This is Simon and Britney's show...Simon always has an act closing the show...and Britney has 4 contestants rather than three like the others.
