Demi Lovato has a ''bold, strong personality''. The feisty US X Factor judge has already clashed with the show's creative director Brian Friedman over her contestants' performances and Brian admitted their relationship has been tense as a result.
Speaking at the X Factor finalists party in Los Angeles on 5 November, he exclusively told BANG Showbiz: ''It's definitely been a new experience in trying to build new relationships and getting to know each other. Demi and I are a learning process because we are brand new and she is a bold strong personality."
''We definitely have contrasting ideas so it's been tough but I think we are getting there. We had a chat and decided to work together and make sure that we're not giving conflicting ideas to her contestants. I think when we go get there her category is really going to thrive.''
Brian has found it easier to collaborate with Britney Spears and Simon Cowell as he has a good relationship with both judges having worked with them in the past.
He added: ''Simon and I have had seven years to work this out and my relationship with Britney is incredible. She trusts me when it comes to staging and choreography. ''
Brian also revealed he would love if Britney and Demi performed a duet at one of the live shows and would jump at the chance to choreograph it.
He said: ''A Britney and Demi duet would be so amazing, I am going to have to talk to them about that.''
Read this interview, Jennel and Cece explained everything.
I hope everyone can shut up now.
Someone needs to post this in XFactor thread. They needs to know the fact that she didn't ruined her acts, it's their decisions and Demi just helped them.
At 9 p.m., Modern Family on ABC led the evening with an 8.3/13 in the overnights, but the second hour of The Voice finished No. 2 in the time period overall (behind Criminal Minds on CBS) with a 6.8/10. Comparably, that beat the second half of The X Factor on Fox (4.9/ 7) by a hefty 39 percent. Overall, The Voice averaged a 6.8/10 in the overnights from 8-10 p.m. versus a 4.9/ 7 for The X Factor. As for Khloe Kardashian as one of the new co-hosts on The X Factor, the password is…awkward.
I really dont get the "Demi is being disrespectful to Simon" ********, they are both in a position of authority over the contestants and he's being so patronising to her therefore she has a right to speak back, it has nothing to do with age in this position. And it was CeCe who chose the song not Demi
I dont get why people say Demi looked bad yesterday, she dressed like a 40 year old but hair and makeup wasnt too bad at all
who says she looked bad? i can't. she looked amazing, she doesn't have to dress as a teenage girl all the time. It doesn't fit with her personality anyway.

X Factor thread last night and some people on Twitter
I think I'm going to avoid youtube comments and the twitter hating, most of the times it's blown out of proportion, I don't think "real people" could hate Demi that much.
I agree with you that it seems like they try to make Britney look better, but at the end we don't care, Demi doesn't sound like a freaking robot. She's not perfect but when she gives critiques she actually is genuine. Her mentoring skills are not the best, but she will improve.

This whole "Demi ruined her contestants" bs is blown way out of proportion Someone says something and everyone else just runs with it. It's like they don't have a mind of their own
2. While small-town girl Jennel Garcia was a crowd favorite in the studio with her take on Joan Jett's "I Love Rock & Roll," she still had to endure some tough feedback from both LA Reid and Cowell, who, for the second week in a row, expressed dislike of her Demi-initiated makeover from small-town girl to full-on rocker. How did Garcia feel about his comments? "Well, I'm not a fan of his white T-shirts and jeans," she said with a laugh, displaying some of the same sass as her mentor, Demi Lovato. "I'd love to see Simon in a leather jacket, but you know it's never gonna happen, and I'm OK with that. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion. I still think he's awesome."
Besides, Garcia admitted it took awhile for her to get used to her new look, too: "I hated it at first but it's growing on me. And I feel like it sets me apart from the other contestants. Now I'm feeling good and confident."
And just like that Jennel has become one of my favourites...plus she has nice boobs
