Q: Ceo Yang Hyun Suk expressed that he wishes to continue working with Big Bang for another 10 years from now.
T.O.P: If we are given the opportunity, then of course (laughs).
Taeyang: If we are given a good opportunity and are faced with good conditions; we as members have all discussed this before, but we release albums and promote together because we enjoy doing it and we think [our music] is good [enough to present]. We say 10 years, but if we are capable of making great music and capable of doing it well, we can definitely last even longer. Making music because “we have to” is something we do not like. [We do it because we want to.]
T.O.P: If we’re on stage and we look too old or have no energy to perform or lose our “coolness”, we discussed and decided as a group that that’s when we would end everything. So in simple terms, we would go for as long as people want us to go.
If we are given the right opportunities, we want to continue until we are 70 or 80 years old. That is what’s perfect for us and that is our dream; we want to continue for as long as people still call us “cool”.
G-Dragon: When I look at Big Bang, the whole group as Big Bang and as well as each individual member, we are all still just kids. We want to stay as children, that’s the only we I think we could ever continue making music.
We, as kids, were raised within CEO Yang’s fences for the past 10 years — if that fence continues to support us without breaking, there is no reason for us to break free and run away. We all still share the same passion for wanting to make music even if we grow old; if our agency and CEO also have the passion to continue to care for us, then we definitely have more than enough possibilities to last more than 10 years

They are so good to us fans...
