The intention isn't to piss him off, it's to finally try and be happy and stop hating myself because of how he feels/talks about gays. I just really am tired of this whole situation, I have friends who would let me stay with them if he ever kicked me out or tried to attack/hurt me. I've had it planned out for years, I just finally am starting to feel the confidence needed to just take that leap and tell him.

It's kinda funny because it's been around 4 years since he first accused me of being gay when I was 14 by confronting me while I was in the tub where I then thought he was going to drown me. I have my brother and my mom here with me so I at least have 2 people who would be on my side if I did come out tonight. My sister is gone so I have no one supporting my dad.

If I tell my siblings, they would tell my dad so I kinda feel like just telling him now will cut right to the point and have it done and over with. If my dad even TRIES to lay a finger on me, the cops will be here ASAP. He could use a quality visit to the county jail to free his mind.
