I don't like TQ, but since it's stayed in the Top 10 so long, I really hope it at least reaches 3 million downloads. I would like to see it before the chart year ends, but no later than 2015 ends. Last week it sold 42K and is up to 2.2 million. I still think SYA gets to 4 million, since it's up to 3.4. But it's slowdown isn't helping matters, and we need at least one 4 million seller released in 2015 before 2015 ends.

"Break Up In A Small Town" is slated to be Hunt's fourth release from Montevallo. It's got crossover smash written all over it, and it's already sold nearly 400K before being released as a single. I'm questioning now whether his label tries to crossover HP or sends Break Up to Country and Mainstream at the same time. BUIAST could even work on Rhythmic. Well the week after this maybe some pre-VMA hype will boost sales a bit. It'll be two weeks before we see the VMA boost because of the new Friday to Thursday sales week.

Yeah, and I just realized they censored "F***" from the song! That's a first for a Country single too! Listen to where it says "---- that guy!"

Locked Away will be #1 within the next week or so
Not "Beautiful Now" being discounted and STILL being stuck in the 70s

It's weird how the US has just dropped digital sales like that. I mean the UK has also switched to streaming but its weekly #1s still sell between 55k and 80k a week in pure sales on a regular basis which is equivalent to about 275k to 400k in the US.

if sales continue going down like this and BB doesn't re-weight the formula, Katy and Taylor will surely debut at #1 with their next lead singles.

BB will reweigh the formula to boost the sales metric at the start of the 2016 Chart Year, but we don't know by how much. BB has admitted streaming is here to stay, which may mean BB doesn't go into overdrive reweighing everything.
