Britney Spears embarks on her “Naughty Girl” stadium tour to promote her new album “American Dream” as the tour is filled with tracks off the album. The tour follows Britney’s life from the “Dreaming Days” before fame to the “Hollywood Babe” of Britney in her prime, to her “Rebellious Heart” and troubles of the past year and to her current “Naughty Girl” style as she embarks on the current era of her career. The tour is filled with incredible visuals and effects, the interludes are beautiful and sexy. Britney stuns in her outfits as her body is on point, the choreography is incredible and the stage features are amazing. Britney uses several flying platforms and additional stage platforms that rise up high in the air so the whole audience can catch a glimpse of her. Several fire/water effects are used as huge light shows create a technically advanced feel for the tour. Britney pushes the limits and even ties her herself up in a glass box of water to open the “Rebellious Heart” set, she bangs against the glass frame as she tries to escape, scaring the life out of fans in the stadium as she purposely panics. The costumes are sexy and scandalous and leave little to the imagination, Britney certainly pulled out all the stops for this tour as it truly is her biggest production yet.

Taylor Swift's episode special (Oprah's Next Chapter) with Oprah aired tonight on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) where it was met with amazing ratings. Over 7.5 million viewers tuned into to see Taylor Swift reveal major news about her personal life about her latest album, tour, and more. Fans were in a treat as the episode was longer than a usual, lasting the duration of an hour instead of the usual thirty minute or half hour episodes that have been airing as of late (Taylor Swift's last special on OWN only lasted thirty minutes). Swift's last appearance on the OWN network featured not only Taylor Swift but her then fianceé at the time, Panic! At The Disco front man, Brendon Urie. It was only a week later that the two would announce their engagement and that the newly engaged couple would be expecting their first baby together. It was only with the release of Swift's extended play, the continuation of her sixth studio album and her last album at the time Coven 13, that the singer announced that she had indeed miscarried. It was also confirmed by Taylor Swift herself after months of speculation and rumors that she and Brendon Urie has indeed split and were no longer together. As time progressed, Taylor did confirm the fact that she and him were on good terms, as it was also discussed in her episode of 'Oprah's Next Chapter'. But after finally moving on from Urie, Taylor Swift began dating male model Simon Nessman who she met shortly after breaking up with Brendon. It's speculated the two have been together for six months. Swift addressed all that and even performed some of the songs from her album acoustically for Oprah after Oprah asked her about the songs on her latest album 'Electric Princess'
"It was a rough winter and early Spring for you, Taylor. What I want to know is what started the entire downfall of you and Brendon."
"The downfall of it all was one of the saddest moments in my life. I've been through a lot. I was guarded when it came to love for about three years before I met Brendon. That night he walked me to my penthouse. The paparazzi weren't there in Paris that night so I was able to be in private with him. We talked. I told him everything. I trusted him from the first few moments. Like I was saying, he walked with me home where he gave me a hug. I offered for him to come inside and he did. We ended up talking and just holding each other until the morning. That morning, I didn't want to say goodbye. Because for the first time that even in my worst moment he loved me. Mariah Carey's Public Transportation Takeover
Promotion done by Mariah's label, Camouflage Records has never cease to end. Mariah Carey has definitely shown that she is not giving up on the best selling album title to the younger one, and she is coming for blood. Her latest album, "The Stygian Chevalier", is already in the top 3 best selling albums of this season of CAL, beating out the likes of other pop stars that are more than 10 years younger than her. "Even though she 44 years old right now, she has proven that the problem of ageism is not an issue for her now.", Camouflage Records Chairman and CEO, Jonathan Daniels answered when asked about Mariah's recent success. Earlier this morning, the United States president Barack Obama and Japan's prime minister, Shinzõ Abe stopped all channels from broadcasting other shows for 5 and a half minutes to announce on live television that Mariah Carey will be taking over public transportations in the United States and Japan by having banners of her latest album cover on different public transportations such as taxis, trains and buses. Camouflage Records also confirmed the matter that Mariah Carey advertisements will be featured on buses and trains' televisions and they also managed to snatch a deal to have Mariah's latest album tracks to be played on trains (includes LRT, MRT) and buses hourly throughout the day.
"Libidinous Dream", "Peasants" and "Up In The Sky" from Mariah's latest album is chosen as the top priority to be played in more crowded regions of the city of the United States and in Japan hourly in the morning, from 7 am to 12 pm since it is more upbeat and positive. "We want our citizens to be able to feel happy to start the day. This way, we can reduce the levels of stress that people face so that the rate of depression will be reduced.", Barack Obama's assistant said in an interview on FOX News. Album tracks like "Bad Girls", "The Stygian Chevalier" and "Settle Down" are more mid-tempos, therefore it is placed in the top priority to be played in the afternoon. Leftover album tracks like "It's Hard", "Disguise" and "I'm Not Done" will be only played at night since it is deemed to mature and dark compared to the rest of the tracks that will be played in the morning and in the afternoon. This is also to prevent suicide from kids, teenagers and adults who have a weak will of heart since it gives out a feeling of sadness and despair.
The incident received positive attention from the media and public. "Mariah is using something out of the norm because it is something hardly ventured by typical pop stars. Normally a pop star would try to expose their singles or album contents by appearing or performing on famous TV shows and having an internet takeover by dominating banners on iTunes and YouTube, in which Britney had recently did with her rereleased visual album by taking over the front banners of iTunes worldwide. But what Mariah is doing right now is way deeper than that. Mariah and her label's plan is to implant the 'seed', which is Mariah's album tracks subconsiously into their minds, let it grow and flourish deep within their unsuspecting minds, and make people eventually want to buy the album willingly after hearing a few times on the public transportation that they took rather than to put in so much effort into making people impressed of a performance. Also there is an estimate of 45 million people using public transportation in these two countries alone, so the chances of people wanting to buy the album will be very high", a famous psychologist answered when asked from a reporter from CNN. Market analysts worldwide have predicted that this tactic will definitely boost Mariah's album sales in the United States and Japan due to the huge exposure of Mariah's latest album.
A demonstration was made later in the afternoon by Mariah haters on the streets on NYC after the revelation of Mariah's public transportation takeover, saying that Mariah's album tracks should not be played on buses and trains because all of the songs are too messy and trashy. The huge demonstration blocked traffic on the streets of NYC, which led NYC police forces to throw tear gas bombs to dismiss the huge demonstration crowd. In the process, 100 men and woman around the range of 20-30 ysars of age, were arrested and thrown jnto jail due to the illegal demonstration that they did. Rumors said that mental problem rapper Nicki Minaj actually joined the demonstration at NYC, but Nicki addressed the rumors and said that she was out of the country at that time. She also added that she would have joined the demonstration if she was in the country. Even though the backlash was obvious, Mariah Carey's album sales have experienced an increase and ratings given for Mariah's "The Stygian Chevalier" on iTunes and Google Play also increased positively with many people saying that it is one of the best albums released this season.

Britney Spears Releases "Sun-kissed" Remixes
At noon today Britney released an extended play of remixes for her latest single "Sun-kissed". Her single is reggae pop and was remixed to various different sounds from hip-hop to bubblegum pop to EDM and to R&B. Britney is using "Sun-kissed" to promote the re-release of her "American Dream" album which is titled "American Dream: The Pop Bible". Britney has been working hard and promoting the re-release + her single all week and is continuing the promotion by releasing remixes to her single which will target music lovers of various genres in order to boost sales and increase Sun-kissed's target demographic.

Britney is known for releasing remixes of her singles and this is no shock. Britney released an extended play of remixes for her latest single "Sun-kissed" at Noon today. The remix EP consists of 5 remixes and the original song, making a total of 6 versions of the "Sun-kissed" track. As the original reggae pop version has a massive radio deal through ClearChannel and Top 40 Pop Radio, Britney Spears' team will be pushing the Scott Storch Remix to the top urban stations to potentially make "Sun-kissed" a crossover hit as the Scott Storch Remix is very hip-hop and features new vocals from Britney which will definitely work on an urban format. The EP was released at Noon on iTunes and other digital music stores, the EP is receiving banner promotion on iTunes to push sales and immediately rose up to the top 10 "albums" on iTunes after an hour of being released.
Britney has recorded new vocals for all the remixes to match each individual genre and has been recording the remixes in the studio this past week with the producers. Britney said the process was like creating an actual extended play as the Remix EP features 6 different versions of the same song;however, they don't sound the same at all. The lyrics are changed in various versions as new choruses are introduced. For example in the hip hop "Scott Storch" remix, Spears introduces a new rap to the chorus: "and i'm a breaking a sweat, always looking the best, got your eyes on me.. boy you like what you see, take a peak at my body then rub me down, push it in and make me moan real loud as our sun-kissed glows come together baby lets go!" . Britney is attempting to make the remix versions target different demographics to maximize the sales of her single. The Remix EP only costs $3.99 which is an incredible price for 6 songs.

HBO CONCERT SPECIAL
(Live From The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame)
Taylor Swift's HBO concert special event aired tonight after being announced earlier this week by HBO and then soon after Miss Taylor Swift herself. This marks out of the few concert events that the singer has hosted throughout her promotional campaign for her latest album 'Electric Princess'. The release of the album marks it as Taylor Swift's seventh studio record. The album has become Swift's most critically acclaimed album but it has also questionably become one of most confusing commercially. Though Taylor managed to sell over half a million copies first week, an all time high for her in the past year or two, following the release of the three other records, it managed to only debut at the second spot on the albums chart. But it seems that Taylor Swift is gunning for the top spot on the albums chart, as the singer managed to resist from putting out a third single from the record. "Right now I really just want to promote the album and get it to the top spot. I need to do all that, finish the tour, and just really think about things I have coming up. I'm getting married next month so all this really needs to be done for all the stress that I have on me to finally be gone" Swift told Oprah in an unseen clip of her Oprah's Next Chapter Special that aired yesterday to a massive reception. It became Swift's highest viewed Oprah special and the highest view Oprah special for OWN in the past three years, beating out the views of Taylor's contemporaries who also were on the show.
Swift's HBO special was announced along with the venue location. That location was none other than the prestigious Rock and Roll Hall of Fame theater. Taylor would then televise the concert on HBO and FUSE where she would perform to over four point six million viewers for HBO (4.6 Million) and two point four million for FUSE (2.4 Million). The concert drew in some of the highest ratings for an concert even hosted on HBO, beating out Beyoncé's forgotten special concert thing she had by nearly half of that. Taylor would go on air right when the special began where she would start off by playing the 'Coven 13' track 'Minds Interrupted' where Charli XCX would join her on stage to perform it. Following the performance, Swift talked to the crowd. "I haven't played this next song in about almost a year. I actually haven't played it at all because well I was pissed it did so badly as a lead single. But you know really listening back to it now, after changing the entire arrangement of it, I think I'm finally ready to revive it and put it back on a setlist. Just for tonight, of course. This is a song from about three albums ago, called 'Serenity'. I think you guys will know and love it." Taylor would laugh as the audience would scream in joy. Swift's vocals sounded much more mature and stronger on the track compared to almost a year ago, before Swift had gotten vocal lessons.
Other special guests were brought out on the show as well. Rock and Roll legend Joan Jett joined Taylor on stage to cover Joan's song 'I Love Playing With Fire', which Taylor cited as one of the influences for her next record that could possibly be released this upcoming fall (but nothing was certain). Other guests included Taylor Swift's uncertain for sure possibly label mate Sky Ferreira where they sang one of Sky's older songs, 'You're Not The One', where they gave an amazing duet version of it. It was pure Rock n Roll and the audience loved it. Justin Bieber also joined Taylor to perfomr their duet 'Time After Time'. Taylor played most of her album tracks in a more rock instrumental arrangement, keeping it rooted to disco but giving it a bit the rock flare that suited the atmosphere of the place. It was an all out fun night as Taylor traded in the big pop productions for a stripped down live instrument production, guitar, and microphone. MTV DOCUMENTARY

The MTV documentary for Taylor Swift recently aired on MTV where it was met with amazing ratings and response from critics and fans who admired the rawness of it and lack of editing. "With this documentary I want it to be completely raw. No editing. You're going to see me at my worst, at my best, bitchiest, nicest, and all of that. You'll also see the process of me making 'Electric Princess' and also performing some songs from record and previous records as well. It's just going to be a whole lot of fun. Make sure to tune in." Taylor told viewers during commercial breaks for other shows as she began hyping up the documentary, which indeed did pay off. "The documentary was absolutely stunning and raw. It really showed you a look into Taylor's life. It seems in moment the singer-songwriter almost forgets there is a camera there. The lack of editing and effects make you feel like you personally know the singer. It's all just simply magical, in way." One reviewer from E! spoke about the special, complimenting Taylor's vocal performances of the songs off her seventh studio album 'Electric Princess' that the singer also performed throughout the show. It all was a fun special and entertaining airing for all of Taylor's fans and new ones who happened to flip to MTV and get caught up watching it. (Fun Fact: It scored double the ratings of Miley Cyrus' 'The Movement' documentary).
The first part of the documentary features Taylor talking about her seventh studio album, 'Electric Princess'. "Recording an album that's so contrastive to my other ones, is very nerve wracking in a way. You don't know how people are going to respond to it. I'm not singing just about heartbreak anymore. I'm singing about things that people don't usually click play on music to hear about. But in a way, I think that's a good thing. It keeps people interested. The last thing I want to happen is for people to get bored of my music. Mostly for my fans too. That can't happen." Camera would then follow Taylor into her home recording studio where she began strumming chords in the booth as Giorgio Moroder, who helped produced most of the record, sat recording Swift who was singing what was then an untitled song but now has the title of 'Heart Worth Saving'. Shots of Taylor in the booth writing were shown before it aired the full recording of the demo of 'Heart Worth Saving' right from the studio, before the official song was recorded (that contained a disco production). 'Worth Saving' (Heart Worth Saving) is a song I wrote just last night actually. It came to me right after someone very close to me left in the morning. We'd talked all night. About our hopes and dreams. And I shut him out that night. He was upset but he still stayed. He stayed and talked to me until I finally let him in. When he had to go in the morning, which of course I didn't want him to, I felt happy but sad at the same time. That's how the song came to life. Because just because your relationship with your last boyfriend or girlfriend didn't work out, doesn't mean the next one won't. That song sort of tells the tale about that and all that comes with it." Talyor spoke about the song before it showed a clip of her talking to now fiancé on the terrace of her twenty million dollar penthouse.
Performances from MTV studios where Taylor performed songs from 'Electric Princess' were shown before there were more scenes of footage shown. Taylor was seen arriving to a music video set. A hotel in fact where fans immediately recognized it as the music video for the remix of Swift's lead single from 'Electric Princess' 'Loverboy'. Taylor got all glommed up before she went out to finally meet Eric Saade, her label mate who immediately wrapped the singer in a bear hug. A one on one with him was shown where he talked about Taylor. "Taylor is one of the most beautiful girls I've ever met. You know, she doesn't know this but at one time I actually thought I had feelings for her. Nothing really came from it but I love her like a little sister really, except she's older than me. No, but I really admire Taylor because she knows what she wants. She has a very strong set of leadership skills, she's intelligent, beautiful, she's got everything. The full package. I think it's part of the reason why she's really the biggest name in pop right now and is so successful. She's a legend." Clips of Taylor filming on set where shown, including the steaming make out scene on the elevator between Taylor and Saade. Taylor's film career was also in the documentary where she spoke about her film 'Kin' and working with Paige. "Film is something I never really thought I would get into until the past few years. I'm mainly a musician so when people come up to me at events and ask, hey what do you think about making a cameo in this movie, I get a bit uneasy. I agreed for The Giver and I fell in love being able to change out my identity for another's. Immediately after that I began taking acting classes and that's how I got a role in such an amazing film like 'Kin'. Paige was there to help me a lot along the way as well." Taylor told MTV before another performance was aired. Overall the documentary was absolutely stunning and was a hit with fans and critics. It also served as good promotion for Taylor Swift's seventh studio album 'Electric Princess' which is out in stores now and on iTunes. Britney Spears On The Today Show
Britney Spears stopped by The Today Show to promote the re-release of "American Dream" which is titled "American Dream: The Pop Bible". Britney talked about making the album and said that it was a: "really cool process where I basically you know got a bunch of great producers together and we worked on so many songs, like A LOT of songs. I made about 140 songs over the past year for the American Dream record and then I cut that down to about 19 tracks for the uh official deluxe version. Then I had the idea of re-releasing the album this week so I took a week off of promotion last week to just cool down from my crazy schedule this summer and I just uhm wrote a bunch of songs that I felt would add some spice to the album, something really hot to complete it. I listend to all of the songs I wrote for the original album and I liked them a lot but I didn't feel like they were good enough for the American Dream record. So instead of just taking a bunch of pre-made songs and slapping an album together, I explored some new genres like R&B for it, I made sure to include a hip-hop jam and I of course worked to make some more quality pop tracks, I just wanted it to really complete the album and make it my best and biggest record yet. I think I did that, 27 songs.. a lot of interesting songs, no one solid sound.. it's very diverse and I love each and every song on the record."
Britney also talked about how she was very thankful to have the biggest hit of the summer, Gimme Your Best, on her album and said that it definitely represents the quality of music on her re-release. Britney talked about "Sun-kissed" and recording the song in the studio. She talked about filming the video in several different cities in Italy, she said it was nice to shoot the video there because although she had been to Italy several times she has never been able to enjoy the scenery and go to the beaches. Britney surprise announced that she would be revealing the music video to "Sun-kissed" right after her performance, and that it would premiere on VEVO/YouTube shortly after the television premiere. Britney also stated that the video would be unlocked and added to her visual album, fully completing the album of 27 videos for all of her "American Dream" tracks. Britney talked about the visual album and what it was like to create something like that. Britney said it took a lot of recording and that most of it was done in her "week off" which turned out to be more of behind the scenes shoots instead of a week off. Britney said that she was happy to do it because she was proud of the re-release and wanted to add a "form of art" to the songs since she doesn't have plans to release more singles for the "American Dream" era.

Britney wore a black catsuit for Gimme Your Best as she rose to the stage on top of a futuristic plane. A countdown started "10..9..8..7..6..5..4..3..2..1 BLASTOFF!", Britney did a back flip off the plane as a SWAT team ascended to the stage. The SWAT men shot lasers at Britney as she avoided them with her acrobatic moves. Britney's female dancers then ascended onto the stage wearing catsuits as well and the girls performed a heavy dance break together as they pushed away the guys.
Britney performed "Touchin' Me" next with the help of Rihanna. The one week #1 smash is a recognizable hit by the pop princess as the crowd always goes wild when Britney & Rih perform together. #BritneyAndRihannaTodayShow trended as Rihanna ascended onto the stage wearing a bra and skinny jeans. Britney was wearing the same thing underneath her catsuit which Rihanna quickly ripped off. The girls danced together center stage and starting touching each other. They took each others bras off and only star stickers were covering their nipples. A pole ascended onto the stage and the girls danced on it with each other. They did acrobatic moves on the pole as it descended underneath the stage.
Britney ascended back onto the stage as smoke covered it all around, she was wearing a long white dress for her performance of "All You Ever Wanted". Britney sang the EDM song as a slow ballad, giving her best live vocals to match her heavy dancing numbers.
Britney ripped off the white dress and revealed a sexy one piece white latex bikini as girls in black bikinis with gold chains ascended up onto the stage. Britney and the girls danced to "Sun-kissed", giving it their all choreo wise. Beach balls fell down onto the stage and Britney pushed them around as she did heavy choreo to her latest hit "Sun-kissed". Smoke covered the stage and Britney disappeared as the song came to a close.

The music video for Britney's latest single "Sun-kissed" premiered at around 8 AM EST when Britney stopped by "The Today Show" to promote the re-release of her album and new single. The video was uploaded to her VEVO & YouTube account immediately after and is receiving homepage promotion on both VEVO & YouTube. Britney also has a small banner promoting her single/re-release hovering above every video on YouTube.
The video starts with Britney driving down the streets of Italy on her blue vespa as "Sun-kissed" starts playing and the text "Sun-kissed By Britney Spears" appears on the screen in white.
She is wearing jean shorts and black boots with a white lace crop top, her long blonde hair is flowing in the wind while she smiles to the camera. Her makeup is nude and minimalistic, providing a simple summer look for the "Sun-kissed" video. Britney drives down to the gondolas in Venice. She approaches the gondolas and a man comes to her with a rose and speaks in italian "Posso andare nella gondola con te? Tu sei molto bella." Britney laughs and says "si si", she goes into the gondola with him as the gondolier starts singing some italian opera music as "Sun-kissed" stops playing for a little bit. The morning sky fades to night as Spears now lies in the lap of the man who asked to join her, they are kissing and passing through Venice under the moonlight. "Sun-kissed" starts playing once again as Britney drinks some wine with the guy and the video fades to another scene.
The video then fades to Britney wearing a very sexy and scandalous white bikini on a beautiful beach in Capri, Italy. Britney is laying down and getting a "sun-kissed" glow on the beach while singing to the camera. A man then approaches Britney and applies sun-screen all over her body. It is the same man from the gondola, they kiss after he finishes putting sun-screen on her and she puts some on his body, touching his abs as the camera zooms in on them. Britney then grabs her towel and spins around on the beach. The man picks her up and brings her to the ocean, they play around in the ocean and throw water on each other/push each other in while laughing and smiling, the video then zooms into the sun before fading to the next scene.
The video faded to black and white as Britney walked down an empty street in Rome wearing a long black dress. Britney walked to the Trevi fountain and stepped inside, she started dancing in the fountain and touching the fountain while laughing and smiling. She threw the water up in the air and swam in the fountain. She then got back up and twirled around in the fountain. Suddenly, the man appeared walking to the fountain. He stepped instead and caressed Britney inside the fountain. He held her tightly and twirled her around in the fountain before pulling her out of it. This scene was a re-creation of the wildly famous fountain scene from "La Dolce Vita".
After they stepped out of the fountain together, the video's color was restored and quite vibrant for night time, Britney and the man then walked through the empty streets of Rome as the video came to a close, passing the beautiful lit-up roman coliseum as they smiled together and kissed while the video faded to black.
The video helped "Sun-kissed" increase the gap between the #1 and #2 song on the global iTunes charts and boosted the visual re-release album to the top spot on the albums chart.

Mariah Carey on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon
Mariah's coming on the Late Night show again. Rumors were circulating around the web that Mariah will appear on the Late Night show again due a worker's suspicious tweet who happens to work in the studio where the Late Night show is held. The rumors was addressed by Jimmy Fallon himself on twitter when he officially announced that Mariah will be making another appearance on the show a few days ago. Her last appearance on the show was a few weeks ago, where she performed "Libidinous Dream" (DJ Clue Dark Remix) live and almost fell down during the performance. She is making an appearance for an interview and to perform a medley of songs from her latest album, "The Stygian Chevalier" on the Late Night show too. 7 million people tuned in to watch the Late Night show with Jimmy Fallon due to the hype that was generated by the rumors.
Mariah wore a beautiful pink dress with black stilettos during her interview with Jimmy Fallon. Different questions were asked during the interview, and Mariah answered most of it truthfully. Highlight of the interview include Jimmy asking Mariah's point of view on Paris Hilton. "A peasant who doesn't know what is she doing. Stealing a song title from me to use for her latest single is not enough for her I guess. And it's not my fault she ended up in jail due to the very fact that she illegally buy my album, "The Stygian Chevalier" [Laughs]", she said as the audience in the studio laughed along. Another highlight of the interview was when Jimmy Fallon ask about the huge competition Mariah is currently facing this week with Britney and Taylor promoting their respective albums hard. "I'm not worried at all about the competition because the both of them are way younger than me. They may have an advantage over me in terms of their age and the amount of their younger fan base, but the recent success that I have received from the music I've promoted have shown that the public are still supporting me and is on my side. I'm thankful to have such an exceptional label to help me promote my album, "The Stygian Chevalier" so hard and believing in the music I wanna do. So whatever happens this week, I hope that the label and my effort will pay off.", Mariah replied to Jimmy's question on the huge competition.
Performance
After the interview, Mariah Carey performed 2 songs from her album, which is "Mirrors In The Dark" and "Faithful", both for the very first time. Mariah Carey wore a black long gown with shades of different colors or black and grey. The live performance was more darker than her previous performances that was done on other shows and TV specials. The stage was decorated to give it a cemetery feel. Fog surround the stage to give it a mysterious vibe. The live band also wore in black but the live instruments were well hidden although the band members can be seen. Mariah walked on the old steps leading to the cemetery as she was attacked by zombies. She fought and kill them one by one leading down the steps. Huge mirrors suddenly appear from the fog after Mariah arrived to the cemetery as she sang the chorus. She faced the mirrors in the dark as she broke the mirrors one by one in the process. She ended the performance as she sang the final chorus acapella with a backing choir appearing in front of the stage.
After the commercial break, Mariah Carey wore a simple black shirt with a pair of jeans to perform "Faithful" with The Roots, and the performance was uploaded to YouTube and it has since received 15 million views. It features Mariah Carey, The Roots and Jimmy Fallon utilizing bathroom items as the instruments for the performance of this emotional gospel song. A backing choir was featured during the performance too but they did not appear in the performance and video since there were no space too fit all of the choirs in. Both the performances received rave reviews from the public and critics alike. "Mirrors In The Dark" was the focal point of their rave reviews due to stunning visuals that Mariah gave and also fits the theme of the song very well. The performance of "Faithful" was also well received due to the fact that Mariah's vocals were showcased more than the studio version due to the minimal sound that Mariah, The Roots and Jimmy Fallon have used. It is definitely confirmed that Mariah is one of the most hardworking singer-songwriter in the music industry. NBC revealed the special on their website last week and it was heavily advertised on their NBC channel and throughout the web to attract viewers. Insider sources have said that NBC have spent USD$4 million just for the advertisements alone. Due to the heavy promotion, 9 million viewers tuned in to this new NBC Special dedicated on Mariah's latest album's effect towards society.
The NBC Special started off with Mariah's album tracks, "I'm Not Done" playing in the background as a picture of Mariah Carey was shown. "Mariah Carey, one of the best selling female artists of all time, has shown that no matter what type of genre she does, she will always succeed in making it sound perfect. A total of 8 people of different age groups were interviewed for this NBC Special which lived all over the United States.

"Mariah's latest album whose title I still can't take grasp of has really helped me a lot in my studies. I remember playing "Up In The Sky" and "I'm Not Done" during my revision hours and it surprisingly helped me retained my memories on my studies such as remembering the 21 biological factors involved in the process of turning the inactive protein, fibrinogen to the active protein, fibrin. Lamb's demonstration in front of Paris's house
Mariah Carey fans, which is also known as the lambs, are truly supportive of Mariah. And when Mariah is attacked by peasants like mental problem rapper Nicki Minaj and plastic-like auto tune singer Paris Hilton during her "The Stygian Chevalier" era, they protect Mariah by bombarding the peasants' twitter walls with sharp remarks. A few days ago, a few suspicious hashtags #MCrebels, #MCdefeatsParis, #Lambswilldefeatparis and #Parisisapeasant was trending on twitter for a few hours in the United States. The police force took it as a joke when people phoned in on this suspicious matter because nothing had happen so far. The police force calmed the worried citizens by saying they will put more polices for night parole, in which they never did.
Then last night, a group of lambs gathered around Paris Hilton's house and made a demonstration. Led by a 23-year old guy named Richard Lamb, over 15,000 people of different sexes attended the demonstration and camped out in front of Paris Hilton's house that night. Richard Lamb guided the crowd through the whole demonstration too. "Lambs !!! Which song remains superior in terms of quality and sound ?!? "Heartbreaker Part II" ft. Nas from Queen Mariah's latest album, "The Stygian Chevalier", or the auto tuned "Heartbreaker", a new single from the peasant Paris Hilton ?!??!!", Richard Lamb shouted as the other lambs answered: "Mariah's "Heartbreaker Part II" ft. Nas remains superior !!!". Other highlights of the demonstration includes all of the lambs holding up a copy of Paris's single cover, burning it and also playing Mariah's album tracks loudly throughout the night. They vandalized Paris house entrances by sticking Mariah's latest album and singles cover art pictures all over the entrances and also made graffiti of Mariah Carey being more superior over the peasant Paris Hilton because she is currently having one of the best selling albums this season of CAL.
The incident received international attention from the media and public alike after pictures of the demonstrations were uploaded on the web. It made headlines on huge newspaper outlets such as "The New York Times" and "The Sun", and news channels such as CNN and FOX News. "I am standing in front of what seem like Paris Hilton's house right now, and you can see the vandalism made on the entrances and walls that was caused by the lambs. Pictures of Mariah's latest album cover art is seen everywhere here and some of them have blown into Paris's garden.", a reporter from FOX News reported. Word got so big that it eventually ended up in Mariah's ears. She uploaded a video on her personal YouTube account which has since gotten 3 millions views so far since its upload. "I'm grateful to have such supportive lambs with me to help me attack a weak peasant like Paris, they have been there with me since the beginning and there is nothing much I can do other than to continue making music and thank them. People have also criticized the police forces for not doing their work as promised a few days earlier. The criticism made the police forces increase the number of polices during night parole. The police forces then managed to arrest Richard Lamb, the guy who led the whole demonstration. "Buy "The Stygian Chevalier" now you guys if you don't have it !!!!!!!!", he shouted like an deranged animal towards the bunch of cameras that were taking photos and videos of him as the police dragged him away into the police car. Due to the incident, sales of Mariah's "The Stygian Chevalier" experienced an increase in sales, both digitally and physically.

Unsolicited Airplay of Mariah's album tracks
Mariah is on top of the world right now, and she is also getting help from others too. It is famously known that Mariah has huge support from all radio formats from her recent era's singles, "Libidinous Dream" and album title track, "The Stygian Chevalier", which has peaked at number 1 in radio formats such as Pop and R&B/Hiphop ones, but not till this extent. The highest charting album track among the 7 tracks was "Disguise", which debuted on the Hot 100 airplay chart at number 35 due to unsolicited airplay only. It debuted on the Urban airplay chart at number 10 due to strong unsolicited radio spins done by the urban-oriented radio stations even though it is not a single. The matter shocked radio market analysts even more because of the message it contains. "I'm totally appalled by the airplay chart revelation to be honest. "Disguise" has a hidden message that talks about despair, pain and suffering. Charli XCX - Devour My Heart: Live

Charli XCX announced last week a series of three concerts performed all around the US and aired each live on HBO, the three different concerts were held on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday night and aired live on HBO. The three nights special brought in some record breaking viewers. "This is huge for me, I'm performing in small venues, to remind people how small my concerts used to br and because I wanted the show to be very private. I interact a lot with the fans" said Charli during an interview with New York Times. "The fans are amazing, so full of energy, some were even wearing huge boots trying to imitate my usual one *Laughs* this has been one of the best experiences of my life. Can't wait for more shows like this one on the revamped Tokyo Lights Tour" she added.
The show itself was praised by many critics in the US, in magazines and newspapers and websites such as Billboard, Rolling Stones, New York Times, Los Angeles times and more. Charli's website was also updated with a brand new theme for the occasion. The new design is similar to the old one but remains newer and keeps the modern and futuristic look. The shows could also be streamed on Charli's official website charlixcxmusic.com as well as on her label, Variety Records and Rolling Stones and Billboard websites, along with HBO on HBO Go. A whole ITunes page was also created for the special, and was also livestreamed there. An EP titled 'Devour My Heart: Live' containing 4 songs live versions was also uploaded, the EP can only be purchased for 1.99$ in the US if you have already bought 'Devour My Heart', the album itself.
Each concert started by showing Charli arriving on the stage wearing a long The Blonds designed dress, the dress's color changed on each one of the nights. The first night it was white, the second red and the third was black. She was up on stage while different projectors were shooting lights right before her, giving her a mysterious look. Her hair was always on the left side of her face. The first song on the setlist was the new Sony/Remixed version of Tokyo Lights, which was performed softly, with barely any backing track. The background screen was in a quarter of sphere shape it was usually white but could shoots lights or show filmed scenes. A background video was aired during this first song, it showed Charli in some dark space not moving at all except for her hair, flowing gracefully.
Charli than sang her song 'My Shadow' which was performed in the same outfit. The dress itself even started showing scenes, it was actually a white, black or red screen itself. It showed dark mysterious scenes of smoke. While the song ended, her dress slipped off slowly. We could now see that she was wearing some metallic structure on her fishnet composed outfit, she was naked if not for the fishnets and leather pasties. The structure deployed itself it had now the shape of wings. Charli slowly started lifting up. The instrumental of 'Hooked On It' which features Sky Ferreira played right before the song started playing. When the song ended, CHarli was lifted up completely off stage. And the angels (Charli's fans) started screaming again.
The quarter of sphere style of screen started showing scenes of Charli, Sky Ferreira and Brooke Candy hanging out in some underground club, and Charli seeing a hot guy at the other end of the club she follows him outside and she finds herself in some very lighted up place. 'SuperLove' starts playing while the screen opened up and Charli got out wearing a beautiful red latex leotard with black zipper a little bit all around. She also had two dancers wearing white leotards on the sides. The leotards were designed by The Blonds.
This act was also followed by 'Wasted (Taste It)', 'Out of My Control' and 'Atomic' which was a B-Side on Tokyo Lights' physical edition. She had yet another outfit change, wearing this time an Alexander McQueen Fall/Winter 2012 puffy pink dress. After A video of a decaying pink rose was shown on screen, Charli arrived on stage. She started singing in front of her regular led microphone which was shooting white lights. She sang 'Divide' and 'Princess'. During 'Princess' she was also crowned by her dancers and she brought three fans on stage to crown them as well. The skirt part of the dress was then ripped off by dancers wearing beautiful and cute black dresses. Charli was now in a pink leotard. She started singing 'Feels' and was imitating scenes of a relationship with one of her male dancers. The song was followed by 'Need You'. The act ended here and Charli disappeared off stage again.
The next act started by showing Brooke Candy on the screen rapping her own lyrics on the Remix of 'Alone in the Dark' which features her. Charli got out wearing a neon light green leotard with big black boots with a leather jacket. She sang the banger amazingly well and energetically. The 'Alone in the Dark' remix was followed by an energetic and joyful version of 'Tokyo Lights' during which the fans didn't stop screaming. "I Love you all so much!" said Charli right before disappearing off stage. Some pink smoke was now covering the whole stage and the quarter of sphere screen started shooting white lights. Charli was now back on stage and was wearing a light pink long outfit designed by Valentino. The custom dress flowed beautiful with the air in the venue while Charli sang the final song n the setlist the title track of the album 'Devour My Heart'. After thanking her fans, the angels, her family, HBO and everyone watching she got off stage while all of the fans were screaming.

Charli XCX Performs for The Today Show

After all three 'Devour My Heart: Live aired on HBO, Charli had some time for herself but she prefered promoting her last album 'Devour My Heart' which was released a few weeks ago and which peaked so far at #2, becoming Charli's highest charting material single or album. It's nearly platinum and was predicted to turn Platinum this week. " I really can't believe it sold that much!" she said happily while signing a few autographs and talking to fans about the album right before her appearance on the Today show. The whole Today Show episode was dedicated to Charli and her album 'Devour My Heart'. The record breaking episode brought the attention on Charli even more than she already was recently.
The show started by a small 5 song performance. After a regular introduction, Charli was shown up on The Today SHow stage wearing a beautiful versace white leather short dress with a long white cape. She also was wearing Versace boots. The first song performed was her promo single 'SuperLove' which was first released back in 2013 before being added on her album and re-released s a promo single a few weeks ago. The performance also featured pink neon lights everywhere. The following song was 'Hooked On It' which was made a little bit more pop-ish for this appearance. Sky Ferreira's verse on the track was sang by an autotuned voice of Charli through a backing track. CHarli also danced energetically during one of the dance breakdowns on the song along with 4 other dancers all girls. Male dancers arrived on stage during the following song 'Devour My Heart'. The song was sped up. This version more of a Club banger than the mid-tempo original one. Her set continued with the lead single of her album 'Alone in the Dark'. The song was performed in it's original album version unlike some of the performances of the song she's been doing lately of the Brooke Candy Remix. The final song on the setlist 'Tokyo Lights' which was performed energetically as usual.

After pictures of you on the set of a new music video leaked online, there's been rumors you're releasing a new single soon, is that true?
Actually it isn't, it's for the Remix version of 'Tokyo Lights'. It's gonna be very simple but still beautiful you know?
When will you release it?
This week for sure. It's very visuals based, there isn't really a story in it but I still like it a lot.
Since this music video isn't for some new single, when will you release a new single?
I have signed a contract with my Label Variety Records, to have a short blackout for a few months, so I can work better on the new version of the tokyo lights tour,and for a secret project I'm working on.
What's this Surprise project?
Well I can't say yet since it's a surprise! But it does concern music.
So it's a new album?

Britney Spears: Deal With Best Buy
As if 27 tracks and a deal with Apple wasn't enough, Britney has teamed up with Best Buy for an exclusive version of her "American Dream: The Pop Bible" album along with a TV Spot for the store to push through this summer weekend. Britney's album is being pushed all over best buy stores as the store is constantly playing Britney's "Gimme Your Best"/"Sun-kissed" videos, Britney also has a main display near the entrance of every Best Buy promoting her exclusive best buy edition album along with at least four copies being featured at every cash register in the store. The exclusive edition album costs $15.99 and certain copies come with a "golden ticket" to local shows for Britney's "Naughty Girl Tour".
TV Spot:
The TV Spot is being heavily promoted as Best Buy's end of the summer commercial. The commercial starts with Britney walking around Best Buy while "Sun-kissed" plays. Britney is wearing a white lace crop top and jean shorts, she walks around Best Buy getting assistance and ends up taking a TV, laptop, and iPod touch. She goes to the cash register to complete her purchase and is shocked by the number, it is very low for all three products. A voice then comes on and says "summer savings, don't miss out on a 15% discount at all Best Buys nationwide", the camera then zooms in on Britney's album sitting by the cash register as another person goes to make their purchase. The girl grabs a copy of Britney's album and opens it as she leaves, she jumps up and down and screams as she holds out the two golden tickets "I'm going to the Naughty Girl Tour omg!!" Britney then approaches the girl and gives her an autograph, the girl faints and Britney smiles at the camera and says "Best Buy, where you can get anything and everything you want". A best buy logo then appears before the ad fades to black.

The special best buy edition of the re-release contains 6 new tracks, brining the total track-list to a total of 33 songs for only $15.99. The songs are titled "Baby Don't Go, Liar, Heaven Can Wait, Simple Mistake, Lost & Found, Forever Is Gone", all the songs are up-beat apart from "Heaven Can Wait" and "Forever Is Gone" which are both ballads. The songs were taken from the mix of 140 songs Britney created for the "American Dream" album and were re-worked this past week to sound single material. The special edition includes more than the six tracks, it also includes a digital CD of Britney's Fox Special in 1080 HD as well as two posters of Britney Spears from photo-shoots during the "American Dream" era, each album comes with different posters. The special edition also comes with a special MTV Unplugged CD, a digital version of Britney's MTVUnplugged special which was never released. With all this material it is everything a fan could desire in an album, it was a very smart strategy for Britney to release three versions of this re-release (original re-release physical/digital, exclusive iTunes visual, and the best buy edition) as fans will potentially buy all three versions. The Best Buy edition is marketed for fans looking for Naughty Girl Tour tickets and the album version with the most tracks + other exclusives, it will also target casual buyers at Best Buy with major promo all around the store. The album is available for order on bestbuy.com and can be bought in all Best Buy stores.
