The whole concept of "hiding behind artists" was invented by the queen of little monsters; Someone who used to give out interviews about requesting Gaga's music religiously and whose early thread history was 100% about Gaga only for him to become some supposedly neutral Hollywood fanatic whose favorite artists to drag are still Katy, Madonna, Adele, and Britney. Guess what those artists have in common? They're the monsters' favorite artists to drag too.
In the real world, people move on. It happens. I was a Harry Potter crazy fanatic as a kid. I moved on. Likewise with the GP; they move on too hence colossally successful artists become colossal flops overnight. It's the healthy thing to do. You don't stick with an artist if they don't satisfy you. Of course if you're still emotionally involved in them, then you never really moved on.
Katy is dead for a reason.
Which is why it's fun to keep pointing it out.
