Lmfao AYHTDWS is never going #1
The thing I love about Taylor's songwriting more than Katy's is that Taylor's are so specific, and event/situation oriented. You can tell they're about her life. Whereas, with most of Katy's songs, she takes one idea (baby you're a firework) and says the same exact thing with a bunch of different metaphors over and over again, but they don't as often tell a full story. Some examples where she doesn't do this and actually writes a good, wel-crafted song are TOY, Lost, I'm still Breathing, Fingerprints, Teenage Dream, TOTGA, Wide Awake, Choose Hour Battles, BTGOG.... But some examples of the lazy lyricism I'm talking about, just a bunch of metaphors for the same idea that take the song no where, are HNC, Firework, ET, etc
Just an observation, another reason I love tsylor' songs so much
Welp, at least there's a song that is worse than AYHTDWS
