Ehh, Nicki doesn't really seem like a "planner" when it comes to her eras. The whole TPP era it literally seemed like she was just throwing things at the wall and seeing what stuck.

That applies more to RR than it does for TPP, lol.

The reason **** got ****ed up, and I'll repeat myself one time in 2016, is because RADIO took it upon itself to start spinning both Truffle Butter and Feeling Myself at the same exact time Only was Top 5 on radio.

Feeling Myself never could have prospered as a post-album single because it had already been ran through on Urban radio.

And then y'all friend Drake didn't want to shoot the video for TB, but that's another convo.

But yeah, radio ****ed that **** up, but it made Nicki the only female rapper with however many Top 10s she accumulated on the R&B/Hip-Hop chart, and it's always nice to stunt on Missy's angry ass.

I don't know much about radio, but can a song not re-peak? I think if she and Bey had released it on Vevo and the song had skyrocketed on iTunes, maybe pop radio may have picked it up like they were TB.


Between Tidal, radio, and her own choices (she still made PnP and TNIY singles instead of far better options), the era just ended up wonky.

Some of the ATRL stans would be good employers in Nicki's management team, I'm serious. But there are things out of their (our?) hands, like radio latching on to FM and TB, Drake not wanting to shoot the vid, etc.

I truly believe FM would have been her first #1, and I'll NEVER get over it.

If so, Nicki (and every artist ever) can keep them. They're kinda pointless imo.

No but it feels like a long verse instead of a song which is what I would like on an album/mixtape. I'd rather her and everyone keep interludes all together but that's just my opinion.
