She only goes on ELLEN cause she has a huge reach worldwide, and she only went on Kimmel cause he hosted her Diamond Ball. Rihanna has zero interest in doing any press unless obligated, and a huge movie studio wouldn't let her go by without putting something in her contract.

I don't think they'd include her music in Bates Motel but I wouldn't be surprised if she did an original song for Valerian. If she performs in it, whatever song she sings will be on the soundtrack even if it's something they made up for the movie. I imagine it'll get a score so I doubt any "irl" songs of hers will be in it...?

That's what I love about it too. She really set the tone with the antidiary stuff (I'm probably in the minority, but I love that thing) Doing Bates Motel during the Anti era is very fitting as well. An extension to this artistic mood she's in.

I loved the visuals, the mystery behind the campaign, that the rooms were re-created in real life for fans. That was cool.
However as a medium to launch an album there was no connection.
- It's execution was terrible, There should have been set schedule for each room ( every Friday at 4pm type of thing) and a countdown to the album release. Snippets of songs should've been included as well or at least the instrumentals
OR she could've combined the rooms into a 20min mini film and included a release date and pre-order link at the end. Simple yet effective.
I agree... The execution was extremely horrible but I have to admit it was the reason why I lurk(and eventual became a member) here at Atrl. That thread was hilarious... I know this might sound sad, but it was one of the few things I looked forward to in my life at the time

She definitely has nothing in Bates. The creators said they wanted Rihanna the actress, not Rihanna the singer.

I just can't believe one of her best visual works now will be overshadowed by the negativity of the whole rollout.
